Didn't use trailer assist much, but felt it could really help anyone not experienced at backing a trailer. With the dial steer the trailer where you want it going and then when you let off the dial input it lines up the truck to the trailer's direction. Dial is very sensitive. In general it...

Agreed, I like the look of the 2021 temp dials also. The new tech and power is nice. Think I miss the light in the front center console storage the most. And my phone gets very warm almost hot on the charging pad.
Towed for the 1st time today, power and torque was amazing. Handled the weight so much better than my '01 F150 5.4L. Set up pro trailer assist but truck naturally backs easily without it. Easy to add the sticker and set it up. You will need an open parking lot to calibate it. 70 and mild winds...
I've had my truck a couple of weeks and never had a vehicle with temp on the dials, so I understand if it is a change that is irritating. I have learned to turn the dial and look at the screen, works good. Also my hand would probably block my view of the number while adjusting it.
Yes, Chip quickly connected my phone to the truck, helped me put in my floor mats and showed we some features I didn't already know about. Also download and setup your FordPass app on your phone before you head to Iowa.
Wish I had watched the video before I did mine. I don't have skid plates but there is a small opening in the plastic piece for the oil to fall through. I used a belt style oil filter wrench and was surprised the filter was not extra tight. I felt it was just tight enough to stay on.
Oil change was surprisingly easy. Changed oil and filter, used Fram XG10575 and Mobil 1 extended performance 5w30. Oil filter has a catch tray under it that has 2 drains (one each in front and behind the cross member), Didn't notice the back drain and made a mess. Also removed both splash guards...
Watched alot of trucks from DRB plant to Granger since Oct, quickest I saw was 3 weeks, most are 4 weeks, some longer. Lucky mine took 3.5 weeks total. Railroad had it in KC in less than a week, then waited awhile on a truck transport.
If you turn on your cruise and activate lane centering then it will kick on Bluecruise automatically if you are on a road that allows it, mostly just interstate. I am almost to 2K miles and my MPG continues to get better. MPG varying by what type of road i am on, right now 23.2 with powerboost...
I love mine, no issues! Worst part is the wait. Most buyers I've communicated with are not having issues, do feel bad for the those that are. Bet you will love it! It's obvious Ford is constantly having parts shortages causing delays on some trucks.
Tracked my truck from DTP to Kansas City via rail in December. Canadian National to just west of Chicago. Canadian Pacific to outer Kansas City area. Kansas City Southern to the KC rail yard. Took about a week to get to KC rail yard, then almost 3 weeks to get to Granger. I could not find it...
My understanding also, you can't mix and match rebates and offers by time. Take either what was offered on order day or take what is offered on purchase day.
My truck is a 2022 601A, it does have massage seats, aka multicontour active motion seats. Love them, they are a tad firm, also max reclining. My window sticker says the same as satellite67.
I'll go out and look in the owners manual. I finally have time to play with the truck, been busy getting it home (700 miles) and caught up at work. I'm free now, ask any other questions you might be wondering
Signed papers and picked up my truck Monday, was told there was no good Ford financing offers for upper-level F150 trims. I had a $3K PCO and 2 separate $1K rebates, for $5K total off. Granger helped me get financing. I think rebates were called "Custom order rebate" and "Retail bonus cash". I...
