I hope those of you who want to drive 100+ mph are not going so on the same roads as my family. I don't care what you say there is simply no need.
I just took an employer sponsored driving class yesterday and its a great reminder of vehicle and driver limitations. Remember those stopping test...
I have been looking online for new Powerboost and I noticed the XLT appears to no longer have the full digital display. Is this true? The digital dash only seems to be on Lariat and up packages (which im not willing to pay) If this is the case im not happy. I HATE the XLT gauges and it would...
I though the option to power the house was nice but then it spiraled down hill quick. I already have a 6500W generator and a transfer switch which was less than $1000 total a year and a half ago.
Im interested in the PB but I would need to have guaranteed MPG to make it cost effective. In SW Pennsylvania you cant go more than 1/4 miles without going up or down a hill. Doing some quick math, I would have to average 20mph to make a 4 year break even price point. Meaning it would take me 4...
I would say if you had multiple 4x2 trucks you would already know if you need an E locker. I dont think you would really benefit. 4x4 and a good set of tires would do just fine.
I guess they could send a weekly email saying your still not getting your truck. Supply chain issues are real. Car manufactures put so many features and do-dads into these vehicles, which people now expect, without the thought of what if. We have also become a county of immediate gratification...
I dont worry about my vehicle being stolen. If they want it that bad they can have it. Not much you can if your vehicle is stolen by a tow truck. I have a $100 deductible on my car insurance. There is no way I would spend more than my deductible to prevent theft.
Fords biggest mistake was making a refundable deposit.
How about being mad at all the people who put in multiple reservations at different dealership to see which ones comes in first. Or the guy who put a reservation down on the cybertuck, lightening and rivian so they can decide which one...
I get what your saying.
If the lightening is anything like the tesla I drove, you have to hit the gas going down hill. Lifting off gas pedal will essentially stop the car.
Put the $2100 into your retirement account.
If your oil pressure drops out the 8 in will tell you
If your battery dies the 8 in will tell you
If your engine overheats the 8 in will tell you

I also think you were backwards on your thinking. Reducing brake size to fit wheels could be a disaster waiting to happen. Especially with towing a trailer.
Look at it as a lesson learned.
We had a Jeep dealership tell my wife the Cherokee we looked at was able to be remote started using...
I was just going to mention the PT. People were paying like 5k over sticker and they were happy to do so to be the first ones in the car.
I really cant feel bad for you. You want to be the first to have a truck of this kind. That comes at a cost. Add on the "pandemic pricing" to this mess...
