A million thanks for posting this video!
Bought a new garage door opener and could not get it to work until I searched the forum and found this solution.
Not in certain instances when you’re towing, like launching a boat or driving away after fueling up with a trailer. Situations where you want to check your mirrors before putting in drive.
Exciting updates today for @riverdave and @Fordtheriver! Crazy that this thread has 1,935+ posts but we’re sticking around until you get your trucks home!
We’ve had the truck for just over a week now and still haven’t seen what the smoked quartz color looks like in the sun. At least it stopped raining long enough today to get a few pictures.
I really regret not ordering the work surface to use like this! I decided against ordering it because I was concerned about future issues with the fold down shifter. Didn’t do enough research and was surprised to find that our Lariat has the fold down shifter with the regular console!

Got up early and finished driving the 550 miles left in our 1750 mile trip from Nebraska to Washington with our daughter in her car. Made it home about 30 minutes before it got dark and was finally able to see our truck.

Unfortunately, they sold a bunch of vehicles over Black Friday weekend so it’s going to be a few days before it’s processed, detailed and ready to pick up.
So it appears that all of our trucks are currently sitting in rail yards waiting for transport to the dealerships.
Hope today brings good news to @Fordtheriver, @riverdave, @Kilo5, @Strengthrehab, @craig1wilson1, @DBL R and @Portcallahan!
Same here. Mine was unloaded and released in Kent last Wednesday at 4:30pm. I haven’t heard a word since then. When I texted my sales agent in Sumner yesterday, he said that they don’t get advance notice before it arrives on their lot. Sure hope that rail yard has top notch security…
