I just fired it up and ran through all the light settings and didn't see anything unusual. So tentatively confirming this update seems to be okay.

Well, a new iPhone later, the problem is gone. I don't have the ambition to reset the old phone and test it and see if that resolves it. But it really did feel like a bit got flipped somewhere on the old phone and it wigged out.

iOS 17 didn't fix it either. Grrr...

Fast roaming and band steering are two different things, but good to know there's another thing to look at if you can't connect your truck to your wifi.

Reset didn't fix it. I've got a new 15 Pro Max due at the end of the week, so I'm not going to worry about it for now. (No, I didn't buy a new phone because of this problem :D)

I assume you mean the "hold the power and fast forward buttons" reset? I'll try that next time I'm in the truck.
