I JUST got the truck in Friday, 3 days ago... I haven't tried it yet because I'm getting bed spray in the next few days and I also want to clean/back to black the cover before putting it on. I'll. report back when I find out :)
Where did you tap in the power? I'm trying to find the right fuses in the interior box (passenger footwell). I need a constant power fuse AND an accessory power fuse.
I looked at the manual but it doesn't really give me much of an indication of which ones will be constant on and just accessory.
If the shipping quote remains relatively close to what it was a few months ago, I should be getting mine shipped to the Dallas, TX area when it arrives. Build date is end of January, so I still don't expect to have it in hand for a while. But it's worth the wait and shipping costs to me. And I...
Looks slick. Sadly Dodge's dealerships get a 100% no from me. Their products vary, but their dealerships are uniformly horrid, as is corporate. Loved the hemi rumble though.
MotherF******* Ultimately it boils down to - not everyone uses it, so we removed it for everyone. To which I say, GIVE ME THE OPTION TO ADD IT THEN! But hey, they didn't ask me.
Depends on what you want or need. I feel like I'm getting pretty amazing value with a 701A package - no FX4 and no Twin Panel roof. I wanted massaging seats, power running boards, Unleashed audio, the 5.0, and the dynamic headlights. Only thing I added beyond that was the 3.31 locking rear axle...
And people wonder why I'm so set on sticking with Granger :) There is NO way I want to deal with the piece of garbage dealership games, markup or selling it out from under me, etc. Now, until the truck is in my hands, I am not guaranteed a smooth process. But as it stands now, I'm highly...
This is why I don’t work with Texas Ford dealerships.
Yes, those are 2 GT500s, with market adjustment of 50,000... bringing the total to 156,000. Yes, 50,000 OVER sticker. I’ve NEVER seen markup this bad, on ANY car, to include the absolute FIRST guaranteed Nissan GTR sold in Texas (30k is what...
No complex pieces on my truck and they still won’t build it ?
AMB Platinum 701A Carmelo 5.0 and E-locker 3.31 - no FX4, no Sunroof, no max recline, no work surface...
What is this word... patience... never heard of it.
I sold my truck back in August and put in my order at the end of August... Been without a truck for months now and my credit cards prove I can't be patient ;) Still have no VIN or build date yet. I'm dying!!!!
??? I didn’t even see the article date. I just noticed the grill.
I’d have probably done the same thing though. Still a shortage of something and causes delay and irritations all around.
Heard of someone who talked a good deal out of Athens? Can’t remember exactly. But Ive never had good luck with dealerships anywhere in DFW. I oredered from Granger Ford on here to avoid all the hassle and lies from the locals.
I didn’t check, but you’re on the “worst” mpg gear ratio. I think that each sticker is customized somewhat, and that’s definitely a factor. I haven’t compared year model and axle ratio stickers, but you may double check that parameter.
Getting a dealership to order one for you, at MSRP, would be difficult. I think 53k is also for the super cab, which I heard they're discontinuing for the new year models, and that would be the lowest trim level (and definitely not the supercharged V8 if that happens).
Granted, it's not...
If you were fortunate enough... Raptors were selling for 8-9k UNDER MSRP back in May/June. That's never happened. Dealers wouldn't budge on price, sometimes giving $500-1000 under MSRP in the BEST case scenarios. I almost got one, but it didn't pan out for a few reasons. I'm happy with the route...
I'll be trying my bak revolver X4 from my 2015. I used to go with the bakflip fibermax tri-fold, but once I went with the revolver I won't go back. Its SO clean, easy, etc. I didn't like losing the rear window visibility, and the revolver rolls up so you don't lose any space but also see out the...
On my 2015 the dealership sold me MPP with disappearing deductible if the service was done at the dealership I bought it from. I think it was 6 years 120k miles, or maybe 8 years? It was pretty solid. $100 deductible from anywhere else I took it to, covered a rental, etc. The only thing it...
