Currently you have to get out of Apple CarPlay to run the Ford/Alex App. Will the new version run in CarPlay?

Went to the dealer and they installed BlueCruise taking me to 2.3.0 and my rear camera now works at highway speed. There are two view modes straight down on the hitch and the backing view. You don’t get the truck bed view.

I went in on February 14th and fixed on May 10th.

My driveshaft showed up May 10th. Hope others are starting to see driveshaft show up.

Same story drivelines came off back order but the dealer has to delivery or shipment date. My truck is just sitting at Ford with the driveshaft split in half.

Your’s rubbed on the necking mine was right in the middle allowing a more vertical cutting action on the driveshaft.

When I cut off the sagging insulation I put a straight edge on the driveshaft and the amount worn down was about 1/8” and I would estimate the entire thickness is no more than a 1/4”.

These driveshafts sure seem to be light duty, like a guy designed them and filled them will all his unsold white fur coats.

How long did it take to get the driveshaft from when it was ordered?

I was told today the driveline should be in stock May 2nd, my original inspection was February 14th.

Top picture is 2/13 and I cut away the rubbing insulation, went to Ford service on 2/14. No driveline available and finally gave up today 4/25.

Agreed, if Ford would have put this in the App or sent a letter in October a lot of damage could have been prevented.

12 months old 23,000 miles.

What is your software version? I just checked mine and no update to 2.3.0 is available.

Wow, I had not seen this post but I received the recall in the mail yesterday, nothing on the Ford App about a recall. I looked under my truck and scoring has occurred. Since the insulation is already damaged I cut it off so it will not continue to score.

What size tires? What brand and model of tire and rims? Is that stock suspension or leveled? Nice job.

What size tires, does the truck have a lift?

I am on Version 243, truck was built in January 21. I still get the message something about “some features turned off for safety“ when I go over 10 mph.

19.3 average, mileage after 10,000 prior was about 18.5. 3.73 FX4 stock tires.

Can you post pictures of what the plugs look like.
