Maybe a throwback question, with the update for unreal having been pushed (IIRC?), has the defaulting back to 3d heading up view been sorted? I'm hoping that since I already had it enabled and updated, the push to deploy it didn't ignore my changed as-built and leave the bug in there :/

maybe, but it’s not a scalable or correct solution to the problem. there’s a sore are update that fixes this issue that can be applied by your dealer.

Has anyone figured out the fix for the failure to save 2D North Up on navigation when using Unreal engine?

To followup for people that may be looking to do this. I was able to cover the previous holes on the airstream from the OEM camera, but there was an additional penetration required. Brackets are specific to the Ford camera and everything needs to be replaced.

I did. do note that the instructions don't specify the proper "up" direction of the camera. the side where the harness connects is the driver's side. i'll post a picture here in a few.

Got everything installed today on the airstream, but after connecting it all, the truck doesn't seem to recognize the trailer TPMS or the camera. Now, @Buyer2021 said they have a trailer TPMS option in their menu even when it's not connected, but I don't. It looks like I'll need some...

has anyone noticed with the new APIM update and unreal enabled that the NAV defaults to 3D heading up? Every time I start the vehicle up I have to change it back to 2D North up. not a huge deal just noting a possible bug

yeah, i only want the power, i don't need the hybrid part of it (although it's nifty). the only reason we have the PB is that it can power our entire airstream. as a texan, if it can power the aircon, it's a winner haha

I've been hoping. I felt really let down by Ford when they rolled out the new super duty and it only comes with 2kW... If chevy comes out with something similar to the 7.2kW in a 3/4 ton my f150 will not be missed...

Looks like you've done some awesome work! Congrats! I have a question, though. Two actually :) 1) what part number(s) did you need to get the camera and TPMS working other than the ML3Z13A576J harness? 2) did the plug/connector come with the TFA harness you bought to replace the original one...

Yeah, my process is turn off the vehicle, get out, lock it, go drink a can of $BEVERAGE, take a piss, and when I'm back it's good to go :)

Just finished update to 22228 on a '21 Job 1 truck. No issues, just takes a few minutes. Enabled UE via Jesse's as-built changes and it required a full APIM power cycle (as expected). Thanks @Jesse-Infotainment for taking the time to diff and sift through the as-builts!

starting the latest APIM now. wish me luck. had a misfire on a trip out west towing the airstream so the dealer in NM updated all modules except APIM… haha

not seeing it on iOS :/

it’s a blend door almost certainly, but has anyone else had this issue and know what’s involved to repair? trying to see how long it will be stuck at the dealer. also going to see if i can diag using software to get it to cycle
