My truck was built in September, though still has 21136. I'm assuming this is all Kosher? I was worried I wasn't receiving updates but I guess this makes sense.
Those seem to be about right. Transmissions usually go up to about 220-230, and your coolant temp seems right on par. As long as transmission isn't getting 230+ I wouldn't worry about it. Its the temperature cycles that wears the transmission more than holding at a specific temperature (unless...
I believe its just listed on the stickers right now. IIRC I had it listed on my powerboost as well, but certainly still have it. It's an integral part of the hybrid system, so I don't think you can actually have this option removed.
I'm not quite sure, but I can say for sure that I get better overall MPGs when using 91 vs 88 (again, no 87 where I'm at). I probably have 60% highway miles and 40% city,.
3.5L Powerboost, get about 21-22mpg average each tank. I think the lifetime calculated mpg is around 21. I only use premium as I noticed a 2-3mpg decrease with regular, which usually would not makeup the difference in costs for gas (especially now), but the minimum here is 86, with 88 only being...
You also don't hear about the hundreds of thousands of owners that are perfectly happy with their purchases, because most do not go onto a forum until they have a problem and are looking for solutions. Everybody's experience is different, and I don't think that ford would be the best selling...
235 seems quite high, especially for 60 degree weather. I want to say mine sits at about 190-200. Hopefully the coolant leak hasn't caused any serious damage.
I got my lariat for ~9k under MSRP from granger a few months ago (67.5k lariat for 58k). I'd believe 11k under if they got the right incentives and higher trimmed truck.
I used Vroom twice, both on the same car. Purchased it through Vroom in Fall of 19, and sold it back to Vroom in Oct 21 (for 5k over what I originally paid). I would never go through the process of buying through Vroom again. Was just a complete PIA and took over a month to get everything worked...
Yes I've always done it myself. You can use a spray can, but its much easier IMO to get a gallon of fluid film (or comparable product), and a spray gun (air compressor). Makes it very easy to get good coverage underneath. You can certainly use the cans, but it would just take longer. There's...
I've never heard of any good coming from undercoating sealants post-manufacturer. It locks in any moisture that happens to get trapped against the body, and accelerates the rusting. Even worse is the coating looks good, but you can't see the damage being done underneath. IMO a good coating of...
This must be something wrong with your truck... I'm in the coldest town in the lower 48, routinely see temps of -30, and have yet to get that low MPG, even while towing. I'm usually hovering around 19-20mpg when temps are below 0F (most of the past month).
If I had to guess, I'd say you have a bad alternator that took your battery with it. If they troubleshoot it to a bad alternator, I would be pushing to make sure you get your battery replaced as well. I've seen new batteries ruined by bad alternators too many times to count.
Sounds like an issue with the battery, or a parasitic draw coming from somewhere (or both). In my experience, the truck will turn off lights if you leave it for some period of time. Also, having the battery drained that much will probably damage it. Might need to look into a new battery in the...
I can confidently tell you that vast majority of us do not run 5W oil in the cold months... and I'm from the coldest town in the lower 48 where temperatures routinely get in the negative 40s. Also, your warranty can absolutely be voided if it can be proven that the wrong weight oil caused the...
