I’m about to pull the trigger on ordering. That’s my big debate right now. Get a ‘21 or put in an order for a ‘22. The only difference will be the incentives, which I’m not super concerned about right now.
I’m just not sure when the ‘21 would come vs the ‘22.
That's your problem. Regular cabs are only available on the XL and XLT. If you want "fully loaded" you need to get a SuperCrew. You might be able to find a SuperCab in Lariat somewhere, but that's the highest trim they make the SuperCab in. If you want "loaded", you're stuck with a SuperCrew.
Yea, on the window sticker, that option will say PREP next to it because it's not fully enabled yet. It's waiting for an OTA upgrade later this year... but active park assist included under it.
I'm like 99% sure it's a bug in the B&P tool. It was doing it to me today too, but then I went back and changed the order of how I selected options and it remained body colored (as long as I had the sport appearance package picked, obviously).
Yea, I'm leaning towards PB... particularly looking at current gas prices and seeing real world MPG with the V8 and the PB.
I found one I really liked... but actually had more options than I wanted and the dealership was only willing to go $1500 off MSRP, so I had to pass.
That's my big dilemma. I've liked Tundra, and Toyota has promised some pretty nice things with the new one. I've talked to a few Ford dealerships here when they get a truck I'm remotely interested in on their lot. I'm basically like... if you're willing to cut a deal, I could be swayed into...
That’s fine. I don’t plan on getting anywhere close to the max payload. It’s maInly so I don’t have to be renting trucks when I make trips to Home Depot.
My one gripe with the 3.5 is that I hate the engine note. I hate it on the Mustang, the Ford GT, and even the F-150. I figured if I don’t go...
That’s my big debate. There’s so many glowing reviews of the power boost, that it made me start looking at that motor. I went into the search really wanting the V8 though. That mileage is actually pretty decent and kind of swaying me back in that direction.
The big reason I ruled out the cybertuck and even the Lightning is that I live in Minnesota. From what I’ve read, you can only expect about 60% of your max range, at best, in the winter… and winters are pretty long up here.
The most offroading I'd probably do would be to a camp site, rough gravel roads, or stuff like that. It's pretty much gonna be a yuppie truck. I mainly want a truck for my woodworking hobby and doing work around the house. Like I built a fire pit this past year and the bricks about bottomed out...
That makes sense with the max tow. As I said, I was just looking for the hookups now because I'm a car owner and obviously don't tow now... but figured once I get a truck and that option is there... you never know. I just figured the regular tow package would be worth it, but those things...
