I just received 4.2.4 about 30 minutes ago. Secure Alert still appears in my Ford Pass and appears to work. I've never used it, but just wanted to chime in. Not sure how long it will stay there.

Congrats! You are correct the next update 2.8.2 will fully activate Bluecruise. It's not nearly as large as 2.8.1 and will not require the truck to be "unavailable". Hope you get it soon.

I was concerned about my 2.8.1 update also. Although I have never had one fail, I made sure to hit the "update now" button right after I made my morning trek into work. It's about an hours drive and around 50 miles. It completed in about an hour. I really have no idea if it would have worked...

Just got mine also. 2.8.2 this morning and BC activated.

I get the same as I just updated to 2.8.1. You need one more update to 2.8.2 to fully enable BlueCruise. I'm still waiting for mine.

I hope it's quick too but I'm not counting on it. They way these update are released are crazy. No rhyme or reason at all. Good luck to you!

The way I can tell on the widget is under advanced info then view OTA update info. Look down to Latest Status and see what is there. I just received 2.7.4 this morning and you will see it says success. Last night it said something along the lines of "delivery queued"

From what I understand, yes you can get it via OTA. I believe that a few members have already received the updates OTA. I'm currently still waiting and will wait until I receive the updates OTA.

Interesting. I just received 2.6.0 on Thursday and the info in the truck also says 2.6.0. I also noticed it changed my Sync software version from 21281_Product Revision:244 to 22087_Product Revision:415

Job 1 here built 7/7/21. EAP waitlisted. OTA updated to 2.3.0 on 2/2/22. Nothing since.

Just an update. My recall no longer shows up on Ford Pass or the Ford owners site. I have to assume the dealers input had something to do with this. My software version still remains the same at the February release of ML3T-19J297-BA. Looks like Ford has a big mess on its hands...:)

Just thought I would post this for more information. I had this recall performed this afternoon at my dealer. My old software version was MUST-19J297-DG from the widget. After the service I reloaded my as built data and it now shows ML3T-19J297-BA. I still have the recall info on fordpass...
