i posted some trends and video from my early experiments here:

Appreciate the kind words. I think we are finally making some break throughs. A lot of progress was made over the weekend.
That's actually a toggle in SunnyPilot under Customize Lane Change "Disable Lateral Below Speed with Blinker" .
There is a change coming through soon that will help...
I've done it before (I''m 6'1"), and it leaves you feeling very uncomfortable. Putting the passengers seat as flat as possible is a better alternative at our height. Lay flat seats was the one option I wanted but didn't get (can't get them on a lariat and I wasn't stepping up any further).
Was able to confirm today than any 21-23 F150 should be able to run OpenPilot, even an XL, so long as you retrofit ACC. Just got a confirmed XL with no options running after they added ACC themselves. Just needed to jumper one extra wire in the IPMA connector while installing ACC.
we have no clue why someone was stopped in the middle of the road. A snapped CV joint or dropped driveshaft could prevent you from getting to the shoulder or going forwards. Sometimes bad things happen, doesn’t mean someone was wrong. That truth seems to be lost in our current culture.
not is slow traffic, but a slow traffic sudden reveal won’t be fatal either (unless it is a pedestrian). Here in Houston we have very very heavy traffic that still flows at 65-75mph.
BlueCruise is L2, meaning driver always has to be aware and in control. However, I have always made the assertion that ADAS of any version need to be more capable than a human. I know costs concerns are valid, but I wish all ADAS systems had vision, radar, and lidar. None of those help in a...
it might be helpful, depending on traffic patterns. In rush hour if you leave a big gap you just get lots of people cutting in front of you which isn’t really safe either. Staying behind cars that are shorter than you and you can see over is probably the best way to avoid sudden reveal.
A sudden reveal is my worst nightmare. I've already been in one accident in my life from one, they can be impossible sometimes. I was behind a uhual style box truck, no way to see around or through it. AEB and collision avoidance stand no chance many times due to how little warning there is...
You could try recertified herbalist and see if it helps.
I have a few people piloting some anti ping-pong logic, if it works well I'll try to share the code.
unfortunate. It does say incompatible configuration. I wonder if a PMI would help. I see @rugedraw asked about it completing, it does appear it might have not finished the config.
I got that about 37 times tonight... but we won't talk about what I was doing. It's not hard to get that is the point, and not hard to clear it either.
"default settings" would mean that "enable experimental longitudinal control (alpha)" would be turned off and Ford ACC would be in control of the gas and brake.
When you start digging into the logic and deconstructing the canbus messages the Ford BlueCruise/LaneCentering logic is highly complex. The IPMA is detecting rural versus urban areas, divided highways versus not divided, intersections, stop lights,, etc. This is all done via the model in the...
Tune start requires a data connection or piggy-backing off of your phone. It's using data to fetch the first part of the song you are missing and fill that in.
