Add me to the list. Just drove 200 miles with cardboard and duct tape on my ~70,000 dollar truck. Not ideal for the 8 month old in the back. Dealer said It’ll be a month before they can get me in.
Depends on how it was installed. I couldn’t for the life of me torque the LCA enough to get the strut out, so I took it off. Wrecked the alignment but made the install way easier.
I've seen it a few times now, I'm one of the one's that it happened to as well. One of the guys on FB reached out to Fox and was asked to send in measurements of the shocks, they were thinking maybe something happened with production and they're out of spec. Who knows though.
I just installed mine as well. Got about the same 1". They're adjusted to "best performance" rather than to "level". You can get 2" out of them max, but you need to adjust them.
Mine were similar, but it seemed like when I torqued them down, they centered up. maybe it eyes my eyes playing tricks on me. I did the same thing, I couldn't get them out without pulling lower control arms. Scheduled for an alignment in the morning. Also it seems like one side sits a little...
Put in my order with Stage3 this morning, excited to get these things installed! The E rated tires really made the ride harsh on my FX4, hopefully these scale that back a little bit.
I had the GPS issue where it thought I was going a different direction in the middle of the desert. Had it until I did a reset of the Sync4 system. Hold down power button and skip forward button. Haven't seen it since.
Had this happen to me once as well. 45 minutes in the grocery store, when I came back out, it was fixed.
I've had a few weird "quirks" with this truck so far...
On a side note, for those of you with Blue Cruise, does it seem to have the damndest time staying centered? On my last 2 long trips it would "bounce" between the lines of the lane, super annoying and made me a bit nauseous. I thought maybe the truck was pulling, but whenever I turn it off it and...
If I understand it correctly, glare free is a "better" version of auto-high beams. It'll still flip the high-beams on, but shape the beams around other traffic vs just having them turn "on/off" automatically.
