All of the driver assistance stuff. lane centering and the intelligent adaptive cruise control. On the long road trips it's amazing how much less fatigue you feel. Can't wait for the Blue Cruise update to make it even better.
when on top I use the tiedowns and run a strap through the back wheels to keep them from moving around. I also use velcro straps to affix the front wheels to the bikes to maximize storage space under the cover.
Just showing off some of the ways to use the T-slot rails on the Retrax XR cover. The biggest thing I wanted to do was to load bikes on top of the cover while keeping luggage dry underneath. I made a simple rack using 8020 extrusion and carriage bolts to fix in the T-slots. I also made tiedown...
I have Retrax XR. It is so fast and effortless to open that I cant imagine the benefit of using the powered version. One may argue that if your hands are full you can just hit the FOB but reaching for the fob is an equal effort to just popping the lever. not to mention, now you have to carry...
my dealer upsold me on it. I'm never one to buy service plans as I'm a strict DIYer. they worked the price down to $1000 so it just added a few bucks to the monthly payment. I figured I'd break even with one electronic gizmo failing
Ya, it took all of 4 min to complete. have only driven about 20 miles but no warnings or anything. on my '15 2.7l it was super loud if you abruptly let off the accelerator. the 3.5 is not as dramatic.
I have the Retrax pro XR and confirm the pros and cons above. another con though is that you can open the cover while the tailgate is closed and locked. this means you have to lock it with a key if you want the bed secure.
there are no resonators or silencers in the intake to remove on the gen14. I have no problem with the VTA. I had it like that on my 2015 2.7 for 6 years as well without any issue. never seen any smoke or exhaust
I just got my Platinum 2 weeks ago. I just did a 4 hour trip with the kids and it was a fantastic drive. my initial impressions are that the copilot 360 is a gamechanger even in its current form. stop and go traffic turns into nothing as the truck basically drives itself. It sounds like there...
I just checked my 21 and confirmed they are no longer there. Its worth looking in there and cleaning it up. I found a few rather large plastic over moldings hanging in there. I was also able to use the junk from my old 2.7 that vents the excess pressure out into the open
