  1. Adding Co-Pilot Assist 2.0 with Forscan?

Awesome thread, evident the hundreds and hundreds of hours put into this. Curious if anyone with a Lightning is know to have tried this? I've got a 22 Pro (with 360 cam and tow tech) and confirmed I've got the 4 wires to the bumper harness.
  2. DC Charging Peak Speed: Extended 155kW, Standard 120kW

This would be really sad if true. The SR Lightning has a larger battery than the ER Mach E. Mach he can peak at 160 kW. So reason I see that the Lighting SR couldn't do the same or better. Please help us understand @Ford Motor Company

  5. Let's Talk About the other EVSE included with the Lighting

I thought Tom from InsideEVs said it was labeled 32A but real world 30A?
  6. Wave 4 invitation - did you get one??

Same story I'm told for my dealership with nearly 400 reservations in a ZEV state.
  7. Usually get refund. How should i prepare for EV credit?

Nothing. The law says you can’t buy it to resell it. So if you got audited I would think they would have to prove you bought it intending to sell it. If you bought it and decided on day two it wasn’t for you and sold it you should be fine. That being said, I’m not a CPA or tax lawyer.
  8. F-150 Lightning Intelligent Backup Power: 15 questions answered by Ford

I’d love to pick up the 80A for my SR (if I ever get to order it ). I’m blissfully hopeful Tom is wrong on the pricing from ford. Hope it closer to $1,500. EVSEs are a riot. I get the R&D and certification costs. But my goodness. There’s not much to it and the parts can’t be more...
  9. Wave 3 Feb 3rd ~ XLT SR

4 years and 60k miles in my little eGolf with 125 EPA. I'll take SR all day long in any climate.
  10. F-150 Lightning eSourceBook – 146 Pages of Info!

I understand “keyless entry” to mean you use to fob to push the unlock button. Not the key in your pocket touch the door handle and it unlocks keyless. I believe that’s “Intelligent access” that requires the 312 package. “auto lock” means the truck will lock once you start moving, at 4mph. I...
  11. Sentry Mode, Dash Cam, ugly unfinished area

New venture announced today. I imagining it will be an OTA upgrade for both Mach E and Lightning. Likely a paid subscription.
  12. Request (EFC09543): Does anyone have access to Ford dealer site-- fmcdealer.com?

Can you speak to if this document is consistent with the “no X plan” policy thus far?
  13. Lightning heater specs?

It somewhat based on your speed and how cold it is. If you are in stop and go, you could use 2 kWh to go one mile. At 69 mph you’d only use around 500W a mile (in addition to normal useage) Our Pacifica PHEV shows the heater uses as much as 8 kW! But it drops to 5 kW ones tempature is...
  14. Pre-Approval Email From Ford

Just got my credit email as well. I haven’t got one previously. Allegedly I’m #10 of over 400 at my dealer. Reserved 30 min after the show ended.
  15. Lightning Standard Range SR -- Pro vs XLT

Your write up is my exact plan, to the letter. When you get an invite you will know if a Pro is available for you to order as a MY 22. If allocation is sold out you won’t be able to order it. If you wait for a MY23 Pro, it’s uncertain if it will be delivered by end of CY23Q1 which is when I...
  16. 2022 Lightning Battery Capacity = 98 kWh Standard Range and 131 kWh Extended Range + Trims Comparison Chart

Figure 15% degradation at 7 years. 195.5M Charge to 90% =176 Winter = 35% penalty (10 for capacitance loss and 25 for resistanve heater) down to 115 miles. If the lighting is similar to Mach e, EPA range will be pretty close to even at 70 mph. These are pretty conservative worst case...
  17. Ford email confirms F-150 Lightning orders starting at “beginning of the new year”

I'll order online. That way I know for certain the options I want are indeed selected. Particularly if we will have real time information about trim and option availability. In my opinion I don't see any value add to going to the dealer for this, only downside if there is high demand on the...
