  1. Ford Warns Dealers Against Additional Deposit / Payment Requirements For Lightning Orders. Supports No-Resale Provisions in Purchase Contracts

After dealing with employees for nearly 15 years, I can honestly say all of us here probably read that memo word for word, but many dealership employees glossed over it at best. I doubt very many actually read the whole memo. Just my experience and doubt showing through. LOL
  2. Lightning Allocations Are Out!?

From my experience with the Bronco forum and twitter the last 18 months, I'd say you'd get better traction/response from Mike Levine. Jim Farley isn't nearly as active as Mike is on Twitter. Good luck.
  3. Subtle body changes from ICE to Lightning

Lightning reminds me of 2004-2008 F150 body style.
  4. Choosing your dealer

If anyone is looking, @dealerinsider and @Granger Ford would be 2 dealers I'd recommend talking to, if you are willing to travel to buy your new truck. Straight forward, no bs type dealers who will shoot you straight. If they have answers, you'll get feedback that is truthful. If they don't...
  5. Are reservation holders required to pay MSRP + markup?

@Granger Ford @dealerinsider can be good resources for you, if you're looking to purchase for a price below MSRP. They've been a big help to the Bronco community, they might be able to help you too. Good luck.
  6. Digesting the 70% price gap between the XLT and Platinum Lightning.

Yep. I'm crossing my fingers this is left alone and we get the full amount. That would make this a no brainer purchase for our family.
  7. Are reservation holders required to pay MSRP + markup?

@dealerinsider @Granger Ford I'd talk to both of these dealers to get an idea of what to expect moving forward. They're both straight shooters and helped many people on the Bronco forum. Heck, if one is close enough to you, maybe just move your reservation to one of them. Good luck.
  8. Federal EV $7500 Rebate for F-150 Lightning

Right there with you. The credit increase does nothing for a vast majority of the population, from my perspective. If they want these to become more mainstream they should open this up to a retail credit and not a tax credit. I doubt that ever happens, but it'd make the buying decision much...
  9. X-plan for Lightning reservation holders?

Yep. I have my Bronco reservation/order with Granger. They've been awesome from the get go with communication, transparency and helping customers. Highly recommend them to other Lightning buyers as well. My wife wants to head East (purchasing from another helpful dealer from the Bronco...
  10. Ford Debuts F-150 Lightning Pro – Electric Work Truck for Commercial Customers

Good to know about some dealers working with customers to create a fleet account. I'm not sure the route I'll go, that'll depend on B&P and cost. I'd like the extended range and 80A home charging with the ability to backup power to my house. I don't anticipate this to be "cheap" in any...
  11. Federal EV $7500 Rebate for F-150 Lightning

New to all this, but what is the $1000 charger install rebate you speak of. I don't recall seeing this anywhere. Thanks.
  12. 150 KW Fast Charging Limit

I know one thing... I need to educate myself on what upgrades my house might need to charge this thing properly and take advantage of the capabilities of this vehicle. If there are any resources anyone can direct me towards to bring me up to speed, it'd be appreciated. Thank you ahead of time.
  13. 2022 F150 Lightning - Reserve or Transfer @ Chapman of Horsham

Bronco Forum member here and I can vouch for Tom. He's been great on the Bronco forum helping buyers out over there, I can't imagine that being any different over here.
  14. Reservation holders for 2022 F-150 Lightning - sign in here!

  15. F-150 Lightning Reservations Open Immediately After The Reveal

I’m unable to get to the pay screen for the reservation. Anyone else having this issue? :coffee:
