  1. Help with towing mirrors install?

Hi guys I have a 22 Lariat with the standard power folding/blis/360/etc mirrors and I ordered part ML3Z-17696-DA to change to towing mirrors. Everything is working but the power extending part of the towing mirrors. My truck had the plug/harness for it so its supposed to be plug and play has...
  2. Confusing results with Bilstein 6112 and 5100 installed.

I think I'll take your advice. I dropped the pressures to about 40 and calling it a night. I have an email into Bilstein with these photos to investigate if they think anything is up with the install and will go from there.
  3. Confusing results with Bilstein 6112 and 5100 installed.

Ride quality is different, haven't really had a lot of time with it but its not bad it just feels less like you are riding a bouncy pillow down the road.
  4. Confusing results with Bilstein 6112 and 5100 installed.

Ahh I have about half a tank but its the 36gal so that might be it
  5. Confusing results with Bilstein 6112 and 5100 installed.

Nope these are the 2021+ part number from stage 3 as far as I am aware.
  6. Confusing results with Bilstein 6112 and 5100 installed.

I'm also noticing some variability between back left and back right height up to about .5" at times. Is it normal for back right and left to be so variable? Also what tire pressure should I be running these 34.5" E load tires at?
  7. Confusing results with Bilstein 6112 and 5100 installed.

So I have the truck now. I'm really confused about this entire process to be honest but here's the update. The truck has a 1/2 inch rake remaining after installing the 6112 and the 5100. That's down from 3.5". The 6112 are set to 2" of lift and the 5100 I don't believe add or remove any height...
  8. Confusing results with Bilstein 6112 and 5100 installed.

I have a '22 Crew Cab Short Bed 4x4 with the 3.5L ecoboost. I was measuring 3.5" rake factory. I purchased and had a shop install Bilstein 6112 on the front and 5100 on the rear with the plan to also remove the rear blocks. However, the shop just called me and they have the 6112s set at 2" lift...

  10. Is my dealer lying to me?

It's crazy that people who had orders rolled from 21 to 22 are still waiting for trucks and now are losing out on parts.. and other people who ordered platinums in January have their trucks and have all the specs.
  11. OEM rear carpet mats for supercrew?

I will be pulling my carpet mats in favor of all weather tomorrow if anyone wants them. Located in Denver

If anyone's ever wondering its called a "body bolt" M6 10mm was able to find one at Ace Hardware.
  13. Dealer shenanigans: what would you do?

I'm pretty sure he's on the other end of the spectrum - probably shouldn't have his license anymore :ROFLMAO:
  14. Is this a good deal or too good to be true for Ceramic coating?

I'm an ex professional detailer and I have a home shop that rivals mosts detail shops near me. The number of coats doesn't matter as much as the maintenance will to be honest. I've used hundreds of different products over the last decade. If you want to borrow a friends garage for a few hours...
  15. wheel well liner bolt size?

Does anyone know the wheel well liner bolt size? I took the bolt out to install the liners and its stripped from the factory I was not able to get it to re-thread.
  16. 2023 Build & Price tool when?

The 22-->23 transition should be a lot faster this year because they are on the new build and price platform that they first deployed with the Bronco. hopefully less bugs too. the current B&P still shows chrome pieces on BAP trucks.
  17. Dealer shenanigans: what would you do?

Maybe you should get off the forums buddy, that's what they are here for. Not trying to cause a problem but nobody is forcing you to scroll through this or any of the other posts that have complaints or negative experiences.
  18. 502A BAP Carbonized Gray 3.5L

Sadly, no. But there is a reason. a high quality and durable/long lasting epoxy job starts with diamond grinding the concrete. much better to have a professional come do it. Not terrible, it ended up being about $5/sq ft a few yrs ago
  19. 502A BAP Carbonized Gray 3.5L

Questions 1. Can I make carplay full screen? Nobody at the dealer could figure it out. 2. I'm measuring about 3.5" of rake. This really caught me off guard as this is not an FX4 as you can see and it does not have max tow or max payload. Only the regular software towing package with the 7 pin...
