Just for comparison here’s my OEM’s on my 2021. Just over 31,000 miles. Approximately 6,000 mi. towing 6,000# TT. Always @ 35psi as per door sticker.

They need to send an update to fix the update that broke the update that fixed the update holding the presets after an update. I have to reset my tone controls and dashboard lighting is always on high after an update. Huh?

Yeah, it’s bad enough when it’s still under warranty but after it’s up it adds a whole other dimension to it.

I think the vehicle owner should have the option to turn it off, after all it’s your property.

Are inspections required for a 2021 truck still under warranty?

Update: all back to normal after 24hrs.

Just got this update last night and now presets don’t hold and remote start doesn’t work from FordPass. Awesome!

P.S. Last step regarding axle bolt may not need to be performed.

How many miles? Is it the first time?

Might have to go to something like this and scrap the bolt fiasco. Not a cheap fix I’m sure so probably not an option.

You have peaked my curiosity by being the first I know of to confirm that the axle appears to have moved inboard to the differential upon the bolt breaking confirmed by your photos. Also the fit to be tighter on the new setup telling me there was wear on the older axle or hub splines. I'm by no...

That would be the $64,000 question. Don’t think Ford even knows. As of now there is no permanent fix. Supposedly they couldn’t duplicate the problem.

I rather deal with resetting my radios tone controls than a non functional GPS.

Mine worked prefect since 5/21 until last week. It froze up midway through my travels and I couldn’t even exit it. The whole screen was froze up like I took a screenshot. Obviously caused by one of the last so called updates.

Now if they kept the preset for the auto start stop setting that would be progress.

So that would mean the axle is flush with the hub normally and moves into the differential after the bolt breaking? Do you think this can cause damage to the differential?
