Sorry for the confusion but no complaints with windows up. That is unless it is raining...as in pouring.
I did notice that when I pulled on the microphone cover, it came off but the microphone itself stayed in place. When I snapped them both together, it seemed unlikely that my pulling on the...
Got brave enough to pull hard on the mic and got it down. Nothing out of the ordinary. No insulation on or above it. I am reluctant to spray foam into the headliner given the close proximity of the sunroof track. If I can track down the mic, i will order another. And maybe I will just...
A defective mic is one thought I have, which is why I posted wondering if anyone else has such complaints. And where I am a builder and my truck is my office, I need for it to sound clear.
I was somewhat surprised to not see this topic already covered. This is my third F150 in the past 15 years, not to mention a rather large family fleet of other vehicles, including a Wrangler. Never have I had more complaints about the noise coming from my microphone as with this rig. Located...
Rear seat passenger comfort being important to my daughters, I installed LMI kit yesterday with my youngest. Pretty straightforward if you're comfortable using a socket set and wrenches . Moving seat forward to max 2.5" setting improved recline position significantly. Stiff cloth XLT seats...
Unfortunate if this is within acceptable tolerances. I already get three wet spots under the rig from exhaust "draining" when warming up.
Driveway is beginning to look like a leopard skin where I park it. Almost as bad as my LR4....but those I expect it on.
Brought my 2021 XLT crew short bed in for some recalls and warranty work this morning. Has just over 5K miles. Asked the dealer to take a look at what appears to be a leaking rear diff pinion seal. Was told this was weepage, not leakage, so it cannot be corrected under warranty.
Had a...
Yes. The Wrangler seat and back is all one piece so when you tilted the seat up using more spacer in the front bolt than the rear, the seat back moved to a more comfortable recline. Plus the Wrangler was not pinned up against the back window like the F150.
Watching this thread. My last F150 was 2010 and I do not recall back seats being so upright.
Had a similar problem with 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Kits with aluminum pucks mounted under the seat bolts helped but not sure the same will work here.
Yes. I was disappointed to say the least. One of my lumber suppliers had their F150 sales fleet (up to 2020) modified to support a similar setup by poking the rails out and redrilling them for the rubber bung. Looks ugly but seems strong enough to support the lumber stock.
In over 30 years of owning vehicles in New England, including three F150s, three Wranglers and three Disco/LR4, I have never seen an exhaust leak like that of my 2021 F150 5.0L (1,500 miles), regardless of season. Is it being implied here that this is "normal"? Is this a temporary "break in"...
Same here for metal shavings all over mine when unpacked. Went together on my 5.5' bed fine but not without a couple small mods.
The factory drilled holes for the collars that the latch receiver screws into were too small. Had to redrill all four holes, thus producing more metal shavings...
I installed mine without shims on my 5.5' bed and it appears to sit correctly.
Only problem I now have is that I was told by the online merchant that if would work with a TracRac slide rail and it does not appear to. Now the question is which product do I want more.
New to the 2021 but certainly not new to F150's. This is my third, fourth if I count the F250 I drove back in the 80's for a local college.
So why offer a 12" screen if over 50% of it is dead space and the font for preset stations cannot be read without a magnifying glass?
Feature request...
Agreed....Along with black lugs. Not sure why Ford does not include black lugs with the "blackish" rims. In fact, I am looking for a set of Gorilla's for my recently delivered XLT Sport
Following....Wondering if your shutter is the same as mine.
Just over 400 miles on my 2021 XLT Sport/FX4 w/5.0. Picked it up a week ago. First cold (upper 20's) morning parked outside of the garage. Accelerating down a straight road about two miles from my house. Around 30mph after a stop...
