The BAP/Tremor hood could be more susceptible to the wind.
My issue ended up being more serious than just adjusting the bump stops. One of the bolts that attaches the metal hoop to the hood came loose and eventually backed all the way out.
Once that was replaced with some red loctite on the...
Appreciate the advice. I may reach out, otherwise I'll get a local shop to colour match my fender emblems.
Also, that STX grill looks killer!! Funny how Ford ended up putting arguably the best looking grill on their cheapest model

I’m glad you mentioned this. Trucks with essentially all the forward rake removed tend to appear visually nose high, even if the tape measure says otherwise.
These is no issue running 34s on a reverse level. Any clearance issues you’d run into would be in the front, not the rear. People are running 285/65/20s on stock trucks, which works out to a 34 1/2” tire.
My apologies if this has been asked already, but does anyone know if it's possible to have the digital speedometer show every digit? The Mustang with a digital dash has this feature so I was curious if we can do the same in our trucks.
It doesn’t work the BOV more. All this simple mod does is vent excess boost pressure to the atmosphere when you quickly let off the throttle so you can hear it instead of silently pump air back through your intake.
Absolutely no regrets with them so far. Very quiet, balanced with minimal weight, and ride smooth. No vibration through the floor boards or in the steering wheel. One of the biggest improvements I've noticed over the Hankooks is the hydroplane resistance & grip in the wet. It now takes effort to...
Thanks! Appreciate the kind words 😊
Yes, these are LT tires; however, I chose these Nokians specifically as they are fairly light weight (~52 lbs) for having a load index of 125. I cross shopped these against the KO2's & the Cooper AT3 XLT, which both weigh in around 61 ponds a tire. Saving...
I am at stock height and have the following installed:
20x9 Fuel Siege wheels with +20 offset
285/60/20 Nokian Outpost AT tires (highly recommend!!)
My driveway has a large initial bump due to the city sidewalk and I have no rubbing, forward or reverse, even at full lock.
These tires are...
It’s best to not jack up the truck when installing rear shocks so the bushings are unstressed and in their normal position when you torque things down.
Otherwise, as mentioned, very easy install. All you need is a 18mm wrench, 15mm socket, small pry bar, & a torque wrench set to 66 foot pounds.
I have a set of 4600's ready to install - part #33253183. The rear end has stepped out on me a few times off pavement so looking to settle that down, reduce body roll, & add some towing stability.
Before I break out the wrenches, do they go on boots up or boots down? I didn't see anything to...
I've only driven once since installing so I was really looking for a change over the naked screen.
Another pro of the matte finish is how it feels. Has a very slick, almost Teflon/ceramic feel to it.
I feel installation of a film would be much more difficult than one solid, sturdy pane of...
The F150 Lightning has coils in the rear, and the few videos published so far of it towing shows that it doesn't squat excessively. Payload doesn't seem to be the issue.
My guess for the reason Ford is sticking with leaf springs in the rear (at least for now) is because it is a tried & true...
