A wheel dyno graph is probably the way to establish the comparison between the EB and the PB. It would however require but vehicle to be identically optioned (as much as it can be since the PB option adds a few things).
A better comparison would be to compare how both powertrain function. The...
Been running the regular 2.0 and am quite satisfied. It seems to be surviving winter just fine. If I ever need to replace it, I'll look into the signature.
It depends if you are looking a the PB for fuel efficiency or power backup capabilities.
The PB, like any other hybrid excels at fuel efficiency in town and is average on the highway.
If one is looking primarily at fuel efficiency, the EB 2.7 is the best choice (as long as one stays...
Still happy with the Extang Trifecta 2.0. I did not see anything that could tuck a front wheel under. I also did not want anything resting agains the back of cab / window.
Taking it off takes about 3min and same to re-install it. When I haul the TE300i, I just take the cover off.
The Xceed...
Very happy with my BG KO2. These are my winter setup, would have probably gotten something less aggressive and a true winter tire but I got a steal of deal with stock 18" wheels and have no regrets.
I'm starting to look for separate winter wheels and I'm seeing a few stock wheels ("18) from gen 13th trucks (TPS sensor included) for sale on FB market place. Of none of the add state the wheel specs (offset, width, etc), just wheel diameter and tire size (when included).
I'm safe to assume...
I would love to see the same test (as close as possible to max capacity) in the same conditions with other brands. I surmised the results would be quite similar.
Without a test completed according to standards (SAE), it is all pretty much anecdotal evidence.
Has anyone seen fuel efficiency improvements by manually forcing a lower to stay out of boost and rev higher instead?
My last towing session was done in normal mode jumping between 7-8 to stay out of boost.
In a never ending quest for a tonneau cover, it looks like Extang Trifecta 2.0 fits the bill for me:
Simple to install / easy to remove - I want to easily haul my dirt bike
No extra rails left when removed
Affordable
I understand the limitation of a "fabric" cover regarding security of what is...
The noise from the compressor (cold) side of both turbos :p The hot side, is the turbine housing with the turbine wheel but I digress.
That tiny motor is able to pull my ~2500lbs 14x7x7 cargo trailer (aluminium) on flat ground at low speed
