I use this. I air down enough for off road adventure and quickly air back up for highway travel. It sits in my bed drawers and its charger plugs right in to the trucks outlet if the battery needs recharging. Small, fast, accurate, and no wires. I can get 2 or 3 air ups per charge. Typically air...
One of my dealerships charge a $170 diagnostic fee. It is ridiculous when it's a warranty issue. It's at the dealership right now for the mysterious and obviously common battery/electrical gremlins issue and the recalls. MTF.
Same thing has been happening to me. First the stop/start failed to work, then approach lights did not work, then updates started failing to install. Checked the battery and it was good. So I actually changed the battery to another AGM (non OEM) and still have the same issues. I installed a...
If you have ever been stuck in the mud, snow, sand, or on a slick boat launch, you know why you need 4x4. I live in Idaho, so I need it to get to 'that place' I want to be.
Pic is for reference. You can NOT drive to this location, but you can drive your 4x4 to the trailhead to this location 12...
All you have to do is schedule a few starts each day in your Ford phone app. Problem solved. No need for a trickle charger, it will start on schedule and run for 15 mins or more, your choice.
I have 38,000 miles and it has similar stain. Not even a real Class 1 leak, I am not worried. Once a drip forms (Class 2), bring it in or conduct your own maintenance. Class 3 leaks (drips form on the ground), repair is mandatory. My opinion.
I went with the Bilstein 6112s, set at 1.5" and 5100 rear. 6112s come as a full coil-over with matched spring and have a 60mm body. Went with this because I overland and do 30-45mph on very long off road trails/roads, for days at a time. Cost is excellent as well. IMO, hard to beat this setup as...
I am on LT275/70/18 on factory wheels and Bilstein 6112s, set at 1.5" level. Zero issues on and off road. Fuel hit, maybe 1-2 mpg. Noise will depend on what tire you get. I'm loving these Coopers, but maybe overkill if you dont pull or do any off road.
I only used the vette example because that's what I know. I know, at least for the track, there is a need for wider tires as well as performance compound when it comes to lateral grip and speed in the turns. My point was, the video was talking about a totally different tire dynamic and physics...
Um, "lateral grip" is different physics. Not sure how that has anything to do with aired down performance. Lateral grip (measured in Gs) is not what is discussed. Putting pizza cutters on a vette would result in tragic performance loss, especially in the turns and at speed.
