  1. Factory Wheels with Aftermarket Tire Thread

Almost exactly the same size nobody will know the difference. Possible differences will be price, load ratings, speed ratings and weight of the tire. Some tires might have slightly different compounds or snow ratings between sizes.
  2. 5.0 Engine blown up at just under 58k miles

That IOLM is gimmicky in my opinion, and it seems like 10k is the most, under the most ideal conditions. But sounds like something else was up. Good luck and extended warranty sounds good right about now.
  3. 5.0 Engine blown up at just under 58k miles

You have been changing your oil every 10k to 15k?
  4. Lightest 34" AT tires?

    Preference and because it rattled
  5. 87 vs 93 Octane

Well fellas, or gals (some of you sure do act like it), this kept me entertained and gave me a good read along with some knowledge. 7 pages I came back to after a few comments, and I don't think anyone answered my question. I didn't see any improvements over 87 after 3 full tanks, and I've...
  6. 87 vs 93 Octane

Ran 3 full tanks of 93 in my stock 5.0: -did not get better fuel economy -did not feel any better performance-wise -did not run any better (always had a slight miss or something at idle once in a blue moon) Anybody else have the same findings as me? Maybe WAWA 93 isn't any good...
  7. Lightest 34" AT tires?

275/65/20 Firestone Destination X/T E Rated are 52 lbs. Lightest E-rated in all sizes for an all-terrain. I have 5500 miles on mine and I'm happy.
  8. SL/P vs LT rated tires discussion

LT275/65/20 E-rated Firestone Destination XT at 35-40 psi ride better than stock 275/60/20 SL Hankook Dynapro AT2 at 35-40 psi. The biggest difference I noticed is that the rear doesn't "dance" or "hop" over bumps anymore. The tires are absorbing the impact and not the suspension (or lack of...
  9. Will 35's mess with transmission shift points and engine RPM programming?

Tuner/Programmer would be best but I have heard that disconnecting battery and letting the truck fully die resets the computer so it will re learn shift points.
  10. What grade fuel do you run?

5.0 Here. I've always ran 87 but a few times 93. I noticed better mpgs (1-1.5) and engine seemed smoother at idle and during heavier acceleration. At about 70 cents more a gallon I'm not going to use it. Long road trips, towing, having fun I will. If 89 was within 15 cents I would use that, but...
  11. Nitto Recon Grappler 295/70R18 116S vs E Range 129/126R

Get the 116S version you'll be fine. Just take into account the different tread depths. Some people just want a deeper tread that come with the LT tires. I think they are both equally aggressive in terms of tread pattern and sidewalls.
  12. Ken Block R.I.P.

Him + Hoonicorn was always awesome to watch.
  13. Major Service Mishap

Free oil changes for life from this dealer, if you go back hahaha.
  14. Factory tire lifespan

Im at 31,500 miles and it looks like I'll only get 35k until they hit the wear bars. The OEM tires are a cheaper version of the AT2 and made in Korea.
  15. Best AT tires for snow?

If you're empty and want a decent ride, yeah. Some people run even a little less and some run in the 40's or 50's if towing. Also, your signature is a complete fallacy. Gun violence is not a leading cause of death for children. That's an Everytown lie.
  16. Best AT tires for snow?

Never put 80 psi in a E rated tire on a half ton truck. That is for the max load rating to be acheived in a 3/4 or 1 ton.
  17. Motofab 2″ Leveling Kit Installed

Thanks! Handles the same except a lot less nosedive when braking. Ride is stiffer on small bumps on the road but handles big bumps better if that makes sense. Does better offroad over washboard conditions but otherwise unchanged..
  18. Motofab 2″ Leveling Kit Installed

Front about 37.5">>>39.5" Rear about 40.5"
