    Just disconnect your phone from android or CarPlay and it will more than likely solve you issue. Mine hasn’t had a single issue since unpairing the phone. I never use CarPlay anyways.

    So here’s an update to my problem. I decided to unpair my iPhone from CarPlay and that seems to have solved my issue. None of the settings have reset since I unpaired. So for me, the problem seems to be in the CarPlay software. Not sure I’ll be using Apple CarPlay till I hear of an update for it.
