Ironically, when this happened 3-4 days ago, I had left both front windows cracked open about an inch for that same reason. When I got in it to leave work, the bounce back happened 2-3 times before I got it to close and stay there.
Nothing was missing.. I took delivery 3 months, 6 days from my order date. And I was delayed a week because the tailgate was boogered up on the corner when Granger received it from the bed liner spray-in. Pretty Amazing.
My '23 5.0L 157" 4x4 with 3.31 gear gets 21.6-21.9 in Eco mode with the cruise set at 75. That's driving on I-40 and I-81 in East Tennessee with its mountains, rolling hills and curves.
The truck has just under 6k miles.
I've had 4 different vehicles with 5.3's ranging from 2004-2021. None of them ever gave me any issues at all. And simple to tune until 2018.
I like my Coyote a lot, though. It just makes it's power in a different rpm range. It does get better MPG's than the 5.3.
Indeed it did!
I will say, though, that the transmission shifts were a little erratic. I think it was confused lol. But it could have been me being a little indecisive on the throttle.
I love my new F150.
But if the 2017 Ram Limited I used to own didn't have repeated issues with exhaust manifold bolts breaking off in the heads, I'd still own it. Loved it.
