  1. When it rains, I hear a waterfall near A pillars. Anyone else hear this?

After further investigation (and watching video linked above), peeled back scuff plate and passenger side was full of water, as shown below. Whooshing of water sound comes from this water sloshing forward and back under acceleration/deceleration while driving. Since I do not have the sunroof...
  2. When it rains, I hear a waterfall near A pillars. Anyone else hear this?

Resurrecting this thread - we had an inch of rain here Friday and Saturday experienced the “whooshing” of water sound heard by my entire family, particularly on the passenger side. I just happened to pull the rubber floor mats and the front passenger side footwell was soaked. All the windows...

My old F150 had Goodyear Duratracs as does my restomod 1970 Nissan Patrol but hands down my favorite tires are the BFG AT KO2. YMMV but I perceive less road noise on pavement AND better all around performance off-road (though Duratracs are better in mud). Totally subjective but BFG's are on...

Likely many, many more options today than back in March 2021 but here is the one I have: https://www.theocdplug.com/shop/p/f150-12 Several threads on this board recommended it at that time and I am still happy with it.

Hope you get your new truck soon! 13k miles and 1.5 years later and still love it. I did put on a 2" level kit (ReadyLift 66-2120) with no impact to headlights, lane centering or adaptive cruise (my 600A package did not include BlueCruise). Between bigger tires and level my MPG are down 2-3% but...
  6. Power-up 2.1

Since Trigger is my first new truck since 2007, I am like a cave man with a laser pointer! Thanks for the clarification.
  7. Power-up 2.1

Perhaps related to this, I have noticed recently (before I received 2.1) that when I remote start, the truck determines outside air temp and then adjusts the climate controls automatically to match. Since buying in the Spring, it has always been hot here in Texas so when remote starting, the...
  8. Best All-Terrain tire for stock 20 inch wheel

I am one of those running this combo on a KR PB - love the look and ride.
  9. Best All-Terrain tire for stock 20 inch wheel

The picture below is the stock KR 20" wheel wearing a 275/65r20 E-rated BFG KO2 before I installed the ReadyLift 2" leveling kit (so it fits, no rubbing or issues other than the rake). A previous poster mentioned this same size in a D-rated tire but my research says that 65 ratio tires are only...
  10. 275/65 r20 BFG KO2 pics?

275/65r20 KO2 on stock 20" KR wheel - no lift/level. Does not rub anywhere even a full lock. I think this is the max size you can run on stock wheel/no level. Aftermarket wheel with less offset would rub with this size, per my research.
  11. What do you call your truck?

You guessed it - Trigger. We name all our cars - Gigi for my wife's big SUV (really GG for Grocery Getter or Gas Guzzler); 1970 Nissan Patrol is Oso since it is from South America and growls like a bear; my son's Heritage Blue FJ Cruiser is the Beast. Our Audi is called "Innie" (my son thought...
  12. Sport 20s with 285/65, 295/65, or 35x12.50

Stock wheels (+44 offset) or aftermarket with less? You will also want to see shots showing how much these tires poke outside the wheel wells considering the offset. Some people love this look and others, like me, like taller, thinner tires (I am running 275/65r20 on stock wheels with no...
  13. Factory Wheels with Aftermarket Tire Thread

For Madman and GolfR - too early to tell about gas mileage as my driving is still way more aggressive than usual given 435 hp + Hybrid = late onset adolescence. Remember, mine are 275/65r20, replacing stock Pirelli Scorpions that were 275/60r20 - increases diameter 1.1 inches per TireRack...
  14. 2021 PB Underseat storage

Here is the back of my KR PB - it has a small storage area on the 60% side. I did not buy the lockable storage option. Sounds like you lose this space if non-PB with Pro Power option.
  15. Factory Wheels with Aftermarket Tire Thread

This thread was invaluable to me on confidently moving up to 275/65r20 KO2s on factory KR 20s so I thought I would share pics of Trigger with her new shoes. PB with FX4 definitely plays into the rake or lack thereof - no level (yet) but also no weight in back (bedliner, mat, tonneau) either. No...
  16. King Ranch Club; Post Them Photos

I have had my PB KR FX4 600a for a little over a week and got the chance this weekend to spend some time on the Blanco River in the Texas Hill County - a different kind of beautiful to jdurantwalker's incredible dune pics. Stepping up from a 2007 F150 XLT FX4 - no comparison whatsoever and I...
