Appreciate all the feedback. I am struggling with my decision to go with PB with all the new tech and unknowns or the 3.0. I'm not too interested in just the EB. But it seems delays in production will buy me more time to figure it out. Haha.
I'm looking to upgrade my 2012 F150 with 5.0 motor. I want my next truck to have more bottom end power and not have to rev it to the moon to get the power. I've never owned a diesel, driven them a few times but would this be good option for a daily commuter?
I have the 5.0 with a 6 speed and 3.73 gears. Good motor, no problems, but I don't like it. The lack of low end power bothers me. I feel like I have to rev it above 3k to get it to perform. Maybe the 10 speed fixed this.
Would this mean that the power boost might get better mileage in stop-and-go traffic and serfas street driving? I live in Southern CA so I drive in these scenarios a lot and am wondering if maybe the PB would excel in these conditions.
