  1. BlueCruise 1.2 installed in F-150 -- review & hands-free driving video

It sounds like Super Cruise is well polished but the fact that otherwise you only have lane keep assist is why I'd not buy a GM vehicle. It's why I said forget the Sierra, and also why I just bought my wife a Navigator instead of the Escalade. It's 2023, vehicles that can self drive without...
  2. Trying to find the light at the end of my tonneau search

If you're going to take it off regularly, I wouldn't get the Retrax. 2 people needed and kinda annoying to do honestly.
  3. Blue Cruise Not allowing hands free

Where was the sun? I find that if the sun is at the wrong angle (shining directly into the camera is my guess), hands free won't engage. When the angle changes, it kicks in. It probably isn't able to see the lines as well or something is my guess. There's definitely some logic behind it though.
  4. Bluecruise OTA Status?

Yes, it's completely hands free as long as it's a mapped road.
  5. Bluecruise OTA Status?

Once you have BC Lane Centering will yell at you to pay attention to the road. You can have Lane Keep assist with none of the nanny stuff, but if you want centering, you will be beeped for not moving the wheel enough or for looking off at things on the side of the road or down or anywhere other...
  6. Annoying "something is plugged into the bed outlet" message

Shouldn't be voided for using Forscan. You can always change it back before taking it in for work so they'd never even know.
  7. Annoying "something is plugged into the bed outlet" message

I don't know for sure, but I bet you could go in to Forscan and turn it off. Do you use Forscan?
  8. Annoying "something is plugged into the bed outlet" message

I think manufacturers are going to err on the side of caution with something like that. 20 seconds isn't very long. The question is, is this something that you could disable in Forscan. I would be interested to know that.
  9. 2022 Ford F150 w/ 20x9 BRINK B201 Insurgents & 275/65/20 Tires

Those are some good looking wheels. They make me happy every time I look at them!
  10. Lock keys in truck and use key pad?

That's correct. Presumably, they think you're about to accidentally lock them in by hitting the lock button. With the keypad, you have to deliberately lock it and then they figure you'll know the code to get back in.
  11. Bed Rack above Tonneau

That's pretty sweet. I might have to get the Truxedo Elevate too. I kinda figured you could put both as long as the spacing worked out, but had never seen it done. This makes me confident that I could make it work. Thanks!
  12. Bed Rack above Tonneau

So you can have both on at the same time or are you just switching them out?
  13. ECU module programming guide using FDRS

I get what you're saying now. I guess I'm just not seeing how I could be missing a small part of the release if I used FDRS to update what that update should have updated. That's what I find weird. Why would an OTA have something relevant in it that FDRS doesn't. Seems like the system needs a...
  14. ECU module programming guide using FDRS

Even after already sending us newer updates? That's crazy. It'd still mess things up, right?
  15. Blue Cruise vs. Super Cruise

Supercruise is just the more mature system. They've had it out for years. It can change lanes, and you can tow with it. If I were simply deciding between vehicles based on the two, I'd go with Supercruise. However, I think Ford otherwise wins. Also, when Supercruise is off, based on what I've...
  16. ECU module programming guide using FDRS

Wonder how long it'll take em to fix all of the trucks that are gonna be screwed up. It was trying to take me backwards from OTAs I actually received and didn't use FDRS for smh. What a CF.
  17. ECU module programming guide using FDRS

My truck tried to download 2.6.0 and I'm at 2.8.3. I'm glad it failed. I've disabled automatic updates. Clearly something is wrong with the system they've implemented.
