I was thinking the same thing. Hell they could use one wire the information only needs to travel one direction.

Have you used the trailer camera yet?

I bought the $400 kit. It came with the tpms cable. My 12 pin under the truck only has 2 wires tho. Not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be or if I need to do something different.

I did. I tried again this morning after driving it. Still nothing. According to Ford, you need max tow OR 360 camera with the cab brake light camera. I have 360 so I’m not sure

I just picked one up from the dealership. I’m trying to install it, but it’s not working. I got everything wired correctly, but it’s not recognizing the camera. I’m guessing it has something to do with there only being two wires on the plug

Someone on a Facebook post mentioned the TRM. So I combined the plugs into one and now it works off the battery and charges when I’m plugged in.

It does have a 12v battery for the brake. No it doesn’t work when it’s not plugged into the truck
