I really like the look of the Lariat sport grille and have been thinking about picking one up for my black 2023 STX. It seems everyone is doing the opposite and putting STX grilles on their higher trims. Is there a reason everyone likes the STX grille so much better?
Same as with my 21 and 23 I used the ford points I got buying the truck to get OEM rear wheel well liners. I do regularly bomb down gravel roads but the entire truck is aluminum so I am not concerned about the box rusting. I just like the cleaner and more complete look.
I have a 2023 2.7 4x4 the truck has less than 1000km and has done this twice. Both times were shortly after starting to drive and the temp was -1C. Last for maybe a min or two and went very suddenly. Driving straight both times.
The more I look around at dealerships I seem to be drawn to the stx package. I thought the big downside to that basic of a truck would be the lack of bLIS but the non BLIS trucks have the little secondary mirrors which show your blind spot. So you look at your mirror to see if the light is on...
I’m 6’2” and I feel like I am bending over at an awkward body angle just to see out the windows. ( didn’t seem that bad when I was test driving it and when I first got it but over time I can no longer stand it). The same for putting kids in and out. I knew when I first got it it was going to be...
I traded my 21 xlt 302a in for a Jeep Gladiator in Feb and I already regret that decision and have convinced the wife to let me trade back into a F150 as long as it doesn’t cost me anymore money. So my problem is based on what my current trade in value is I can get a 2021 2.7 Lariat sport with...
From the internet research I have done it is pretty commmon on the eco boost engines at start up. It comes and goes for me and I watched it very closely to make sure it wasn’t blueish in colour which would indicate engine oil burning. It always goes away after initial startup so I am assuming...
I am 6’2” tall so side steps serve the purpose of transferring dirt to my pants and that is about it. I took them off and love the look. I am now kinda worried without the steps a lot more stones and rocks are going to be thrown up at my rocker panels. FYI factory side steps are 20 lbs each.
Kansas City build arrived July 9th and picked it up July 19. A couple nit picky issues here and there but overall I am very happy and glad I made the move from Ram.
well sorry for wasting everyone’s time. I went out this morning and double checked and it did not go into 4x4. I think when I was cycling through modes and it went into off road mode then Switched to sport and saw “4x4 shift in progress” I assumed it was going into 4x4 not out of 4x4. Sorry...
