21 Job 1: 4.2.4 updated in October 23, nothing since

Just in case anybody else is in the same boat, my truck skipped from 3.5.2 to 4.2.4 then yesterday I finally got 3.5.3! Hopefully this means I will now start to get the other ones I missed too.

The messages in Ford Pass and the status reported by the truck don’t reveal much. Can you post a screen shot of your OTA update info from the widget? That’s the best way I have found to figure out actual status.

I checked this at every version - if you are not using Forscan, you will need to wait until 2.5.3 to have access to the Bed Camera card and bed camera at speed. They will not appear/work for 2.5.2 or earlier without Forscan.

I got to 2.5.3 today and can confirm that the bed camera at speed works without any Forscan changes (it did not work at 2.5.2 or earlier). I also captured the various statuses that an OTA update will go through (taken from the widget). Here's my interpretation of what they mean...

I’m curious about this too, as I think I’ll use the cameras more than I use BlueCruise. I’m at 2.4.5 and they are not available at speed (maybe Forscan could enable them, but that’s beyond me).

I got 2.4.3 yesterday via OTA. I'm in Early Access but wasn't selected for the initial BlueCruise roll out. Hopefully this means that the BlueCruise versions are starting to roll out more broadly?

“The full BlueZone interactive map is expected to be available in May 2022.” I like the sound of that - don’t have BlueCruise yet but very curious to know where it is going to work.

Sharing my experience with OTAs just in case it is helpful to others... I received some OTA updates in 2021, though I don't recall exactly which ones. Earlier this year, I got stuck somewhere - definitely got past the 1.7 issues and then got stuck somewhere in the 2s. No updates at all in 2022...

That happened to me too, but I think it was because there was an update in progress or maybe a problem at Ford’s end. The Ford site gave me even less information than normal while that error message was up, but an update since came through and the widget is working again.

Got back from the dealer today. They weren’t able to recreate the problem and said there was nothing they could do until they actually see it happen. Going to try and catch it on video, but otherwise might have to wait until it gets bad enough to happen every time so the dealer can see it for...
