I drove a 2015 ecoboost 130,000 miles, changing oil when the computer said it was ready. No issues. I did however switch to full Synthetic for the last few changes. I wouldn't spend the extra if changing it more frequently.

These are questions I just take for granted. Ford pays professional engineers a lot of money to design reliable systems. In today's competitive markets they cannot chance putting out something major that gets trashed prematurely.

I have the smoked quartz KR as well with the auto-tailgate and it seems to work just fine.
