  1. 2024 F-150 Scheduling This Week (4/18/24) for Production Week 6/3

Pretty much a regular King Ranch Powerboost though I did order the new tailgate the day after it became "orderable".
  2. 2024 F-150 Scheduling This Week (4/18/24) for Production Week 6/3

Just how accurate are these? An email from Ford states that my truck has been scheduled for 5/22 (ordered 2/21) but doesn't meet the criteria you have posted.
  3. Platinum 702A - worst value package?

That is what I wanted - badly. The only option is to buy a platinum. Then, you have to buy 22” wheels ( not appropriate for a working truck), too fancy interior, and too much money for what you get. The only consolation is the bronze is VERY dark - I’m told, and shown.
  4. Consumer Reports and PB

Is the Powerboost 10 speed transmission different from the one in the ICE’s??
  5. Consumer Reports and PB

I subscribe to CR. Also, I know that you can’t base your knowledge on just one vehicle. But my ‘21 PB with 57,000 miles has been to the dealership exactly 0 times. There is nothing it needs to go the dealership for. It just strikes me as unbelievable that the truck could be rated so low...
  6. So, This Is Where All The 2024 F-150s Are! @ Michigan International Speedway

You know, this just doesn’t make Ford look very smart. I’m sorry. I wish they would come clean with us. What is the quality problem? Is there one or is this an excuse. Why wasn’t the quality up to standards when they came off the assembly line? There are thousands of us waiting for trucks...
  7. Any good experiences from PowerBoost owners

My ‘21 PB KR has had zero issues. Literally zero. Had a recall on my windshield wipers but they were working perfectly. Oh yes, 57,209 miles right now as I look at the odometer. We drove it on a 2,000 mile road trip last fall across Missouri, Kansas, and Colorado. A few hundred miles over...
  8. Calling all AMB Color Owners: To Auto Car Wash or To Not Auto Car Wash

My 21 f150 and my wife’s 22 expedition have been living on subscription car washes for 2.5 years. Mine is black, hers is magnet grey, very dark. Mileage mine is 54,000, her’s is 44,000. We wash them from 2- 3 per week. I haven’t seen any swirls whatsoever. I know what I’m talking about. I...
  9. The BED COVER Resource Guide

All I can say is, I have a RetraxPro XR and it is the finest lid I’ve ever owned. On my ‘21 for almost 3 years. I was concerned about losing the approx 8” of bed length but it has not been a problem. Can still get a 4-wheeler in. I absolutely love it!!
  10. Afraid To Buy Today’s Ford (Powerboost) Am I Nuts?

I must live in a different universe: I’m retired farmer, have probably owned around 18 pickups, usually had 2 at a time to run my farm. Early years mostly GM, later years mostly Fords. In my experience, the quality and durability of the newer trucks are pretty incredible, not to mention...
  11. Wiper Motor Recall (Update: Replacement Parts Are Finally In)

Well, I am surprised by all the negative (and apparently wrong) comments on this subject. I’ve had my 21 since May of 21. In Oct of 21, I had an Enterprise rental 2021 F150 in October for some Colorado leaf-peeping. Two days I ran into rain. The WW would only run intermittently. I could turn...
  12. What tire came on your PowerBoost?

My ‘21 KR PB came with Pirelli Scorpions. Initially I was disappointed in their appearance. At 45,000 miles I just replaced them with another set of Pirelli’s. They are quiet, smooth, weigh only 38 lbs each, and thus contribute to my impressive mileage. My last 15,000 miles the truck has...
  13. Building 14th Gen F150 Dream Garage

If you build it 23' deep, if you park the front license plate holder within 1" of the front wall, you can lower your tailgait and slide between it and the garage door - if you are thin. So, that is your drop-dead minimum. Skip meals for a month if you have to, to get there. 25' won't be deep...
  14. Study Finds Greater Greenhouse Gas Reductions For EV Pickup Trucks Than Light-Duty Vehicles

In spite of all this back and forth (very interesting discussion), my concerns are more about "this" when it comes to electric vehicles (I want one but my hybrid will have to do for now, thank you): When I drive my pickup 175 miles pulling a 4000 lb trailer/camper into the deep woods during the...
  15. 2021 F-150 CoPilot 360 hack for completely hands free driving

I find trying to drive with the lane centering running is intolerably irritating. It feels like you are driving a vehicle with serious alignment problems. It is almost constantly pulling to one side or another. You have to pay constant attention to the steering wheel to the detriment of...
  16. PowerBoost Pro Power Onboard Generator VS Power outage!

I think you completely misinterpreted his post. He didn’t call you half assed. His comments were supportive of your comments even while being light-hearted.
  17. 3.0 can it still be ordered ???????

I haven't towed, yet, with my Powerboost. But my 2019 ecoboost got terrible mileage towing. Pulling a heavy trailer with lots of wind resistance, got around 7. Why would a Powerboost get worse mileage? It's basically the same engine. I'm averaging 21.5 to 22 on mixed hwy/city driving but...
