I checked under my truck and it hasn’t left the dealer yet, however I’m planning on spraying underneath with a rust protection spray and will just take care of this small amount myself instead of it spending more time at the dealer.

They really didn’t seem to flinch when I asked.however I’ve had an issue since then so I guess once they fix that problem I’ll find out if they chose to not follow through on the brake controller.
I had my dealer order the OEM brake controller,, but as mentioned above it’ll be a few months. I was given a price of $180 for the controller and about $350 for install.

So I’m in the process of purchasing a vehicle and the check engine light came on after applying this update. The dealer is now changing the entire instrument panel cluster as recommended by a Ford service advisor to eliminate any chasing. Has anyone had this done?
