Serious question, when towing, based on how chargers are set up for single vehicles, did you have to decouple the trailer in a parking lot, charge truck, then hook up trailer?
Just came out of a 2021 F150 with Toyo AT III's and just put AT4w's on my 2023 F150.
both are great tires, look, ride quality, mpg and snow performance all comparable.
I have max tow and the AT4W sidewall construction is what pulled me over another set of AT III's
added bonus on the AT4W is...
This 2024 debacle just not adding up.
This isn't a new model launch like 2021, it's a mid cycle refresh with basically new headlights, taillights and grill.
No mechanical upgrades, so what could possibly cause a quality hold with minor cosmetic upgrades.
This combined with building 2023's...
Talked to my dealer about ordering a 2024, but they offered me heavy discounts on a 2023, deal was too good to pass up.
Never seen a model year rollout delayed like this.

Brand new 2023 302A side mirrors. These are takeoffs due to adding tow mirrors.
Power adjust glass, BLIS,turn signal, spot light, puddle light, heat, manual folding.
22 pin connector.
$500 for the pair plus shipping.

That is the gripe about the Tesla handouts, do people who can afford $150k cars deserve a taxpayer funded handout?
Had an EV, took advantage of the FREE government discount......for the 3 years I owned the vehicle, nothing ruined the EV experience more than the guilt of that $7500 discount.
All good arguements.
But may I add a few to ponder.
1)Coal and Natural gas fired power plants are used to charge the majority of EV’s, Solar and wind can’t currently sustain the Grid alone.
2) mining of lithium and other rare earth materials for batteries is pretty devastating
3)Battery...
I agree with most of the above.
If you like the lightning by all means buy it and enjoy it for what it is.
Unfortunately EV is super political in nature and that is where the lines get drawn. Just how the country is right now.
Having owned an EV, it served its purpose, enjoyed the...
Brian,
With all due respect.....
what would the vetting criteria be?
1) prior ownership of an EV?
2) works in automotive field?
3)Engineering degree required?
If these are what you are thinking, your forum members who are qualified to post would be very limited.
most lightning owners would...
