If I am following this correctly, he is tapping the BCM to get fused switched power. The SCCM is apparently just an easier way tap into illumination.

The illumination wire is Violet with a gray tracer. You should be able to find that wire on the dome light connector. I don't have a pin out of that connector to be more clear but hopefully someone else will chime in.

I am trying to find the easiest way to tap that wire myself. Some people pick it up in the overhead console and others have tapped into the wire coming off the BCM in the passenger foot well. It a violet wire with a gray tracer. Hopefully when the directions get posted he has an easier place...

I am reading this as it may be easier to add in missing options since the wiring will already be there. my thoughts is instead of having so many different combinations of harnesses, they will make it more one size fits all. of course this is just speculation on my part

it would seem like this would make sense with the short battery cable that is on the relay box. But I agree I don't see where it could possibly mount. That area for me is already pretty full of wires, actually that whole side of the truck is full of wires due to the powerboost module.
