Agree with the article. Didn't expect the instrument panel and gauges to be one of my favorite things about the new truck but it is. The design language is consistent, the modes transition seamlessly and just the right info is displayed prominently.
I agree but that's just how it is done nowadays. The problem is many colors are very difficult to accurately portray with renderings. I'm hoping this site will capture more prototypes in different colors once the camouflage comes off.
Agreed but with Covid that could be different this year. The timelines have been stretched but good thing is Ford seems to have been proactive and for the most part, prepared. Although the plant shutdowns due to workers contracting Covid are something you just can't plan for.
There are many...
FYI - I've heard the 2021 F-150 ordering may be similar to the online ordering process that Ford started with the Mach-E Mustang. You should be able to place a deposit to reserve your vehicle while designating your delivery dealership.
Completely new interior, modified platform, redesigned exterior, new hybrid/electric engines, etc. I'd say this is more than enough to be called all new. Very few new cars are complete redone from the ground up anymore.
Sadly these types of issues are going to be common for all manufacturers and will probably speed up the replacement of people with robots doing these jobs to the extent it's possible.
After looking closer I do think that is just a reflection to the left of the N. It's too close to the N to be another letter and there appears to be the same reflection to the right of the N as well.
New 2021 Ford F-150 Trim Level Shows Up In New Spy Shots: Exclusive

Those following Ford Authority will know that Ford is hard at work on an all-new F-150. Set to launch in the second half of 2020, the 14th-generation F-150 is expected to deliver a complete...
I agree and it looks even more like an iPad not even integrated into the dash/center stack. It makes more sense in a MachE. I'm skeptical Ford would put this into an F-150. I found the CD article that Fiver was talking about.
"The changes should be more obvious inside. Attempting to catch up...
Agreed, the MachE’s 15.5 inch screen (below) is massive. To me it looks like the 12 inch screen in both the Lariat and the one above. Maybe just that the image on the screen isn’t stretched to the display borders.
Great info thanks. Makes you wonder how Ford is going to organize a reveal while still on lockdown. Even with an online only event there's still a lot of logistics and people that will need to get together to make it all happen.
How about a few teasers while we're all waiting Ford!!
Here's the order guide attached. I dont have the price list.
Are you deciding between the 2020 Raptor and next gen F150? It could be a few years out before the next Raptor
It looks like Ford already debunked this article and stated that it will not be a plug in hybrid. It seems the hybrid will be more about towing capacity while also being able to act as a mobile generator. It's a smart move IMO since there will be a full EV version offered.
We’re only a week away from this, there must be some signs at the plant whether Ford will be going forward or pushing it back further. Aren’t they building ventilators for the foreseeable future?
I assume the earlier prototypes with the covered front end was more of a mule and using the current body (or at least current doors). The notch is definitely on the latest prototypes. Or could it actually be two different versions for different trims/models...
I'm hopeful there won't be (much) delay. Ford issued a press release about how they are responding to this crisis.
“At the same time, Ford announced it has suspended the company’s dividend, prioritizing near-term financial flexibility and continued investments in an ambitious series of...
