The side bars failed on both of my headlamps early last year. Unfortunately it happened around 42k miles so no warranty. I’m the only owner so no mods or forscan changes on the DRLs to cause. I’m not paying $2k for a headlight so I’ve just lived with it, but glad to know I’m not the only one.

Well I jumped off the deep end this weekend. Got the mongoose and battery tender in hand on Friday, and after 2 days, 3 APIM updates, 2 GWM updates, 2 TCU updates, and 11 other modules updated, my Job 1 2021 is finally communicating again and up to date. It hasn't communicated with FordPass or...

Yeah, it took an update back in November 2021 which apparently knocked out the GWM. After that my truck stopped communicating with FordPass and has never taken an update since then.

Would someone mind looking up 1FTFW1E8XMKD15217 ? Just picked up my truck from the dealership after having my GWM replaced per TSB 22-2123, but still experiencing the same issues as before I took it in and am curious as to what work was ACTUALLY performed. Due to take it back in next week.

Somehow I made it to 41000 miles @ 21 months ownership. But, I should also add that by that point the rubber blades completely separated from the arms. Use RainX so never have to use my wipers much. Replaced with Bosch.

My Job 1 XLT took an OTA update back in November and took out the onboard modem so no updates or any connectivity for me right now. Been fighting with the dealership to get the GWM replaced per TSB 22-2208 (among other things) but they are a bunch of morons. Maybe one day they’ll get my truck...

Had it for a month and a half now, just rolled 3000 today
