Thanks for clarifying.
I was confused, as I swear (wishful thinking?) in one of the OTA or 6.x threads it talked about 6.8 and BC enhancements.
Additionally tonesto's Power Up Version History for 6.8.0 has:
"For vehicles equipped with BlueCruise this adds support for lane change assist in...
Have a '22 PB KR with Blue Cruise and everything else.
Excited about 6.8 having BC updates, to include lane change as documented in Tonesto version history.
For me it was just like the "Details" stated - ... improvements for future stuff...
"What's new:
Ford Power-up 6.8.0
Smart changes here...
Scales (and CCD suspension) were a Job 2 option for '21 (i.e. started being available around July). And was an option on most upper level trims (not sure about Limited).
To add to the confusion, every car/truck/brand/model I've owned always had a "buffer" of at least 20 miles after the DTE went to 0. So even when DTE=0 I've had a least a gallon in the tank.
This makes the OP at 31.2g put in when DTE=20 (which would imply about 2 gallons still in the tank)...
I believe there are 3 times when the Parking Brake applies automatically.
One, when you set it to, while having a trailer attached and shifting into park.
Second, if you are a little quick on lifting foot off of the brake pedal as you shift into Park.
Third is when the truck senses it's on an...
Ok, not sure why Frank got jumped about expecting an allowed function (removing tailgate temporarily) causing a malfunction on his truck.
History: I had the same problem when an after-manufacturing spray in was done. However, the dealer was having it done as part of my purchase (at the time...
You are wrong (confused) and may be confusing others reading this.
Yes RVs are 120V.
Yes "50 Amp" (i.e. 4 pin) RVs have 2 separate 120V legs each rated to use up to 50 amps (but usually on most RVs will have 30amp breaker, limiting load up to 30amps on each leg). In general the RVs with 2 A/Cs...
Important to review stats further, is it ELECTRIC brakes or is it hydraulic/surge brakes. Many (most?) trailers under 5000lb total would have surge and you don't need (and would NOT get any use from) a TBC.
Also to keep in mind, an appropriate switched neutral solution (whether fully mechanical or automated) will switch Neutral BEFORE switching the 2 Hots. That is you never want to have the Hot switched and live before the netural is in circuit. So if your Electrician is going to "fab" up some...
The 4 120V outlets in the bed are rated at 20A each (but not all 4 at once).
A motor (saw or some other motor) can draw a startup current of 2 to 4x the rated amp of the motor (i.e. if motor is a 12A motor you might see a spike of 25 to 50A momentarily.
A circuit breaker in your house...
Of course local codes can change from city to city.
Here EVERY outlet outside or the garage (i.e. not in the living space), as well as bathroom outlets within a certain distance from water (sink, tub, shower, etc) HAS to be GFCI.
So if you are going to have a "beer frig" in the garage it will...
I have both a residential side by side Refrigerator/Freezer (with ice maker) and a chest deep freeze in my garage both plugged into GFCI outlets. Both running for many, many years. Never have either one of them tripped the GFCI.
My 2015 F150 KR had actually cooled seats. There was a piezo unit in them that actually chilled the air. I know because I took it apart. It works the same way a small (non-compressor) wine chiller works. Piezo effect is good for about 25 to 30F from ambient.
Sorry, been away from the forum for a good while. I haven't really kept up with any parts changes since I chased it down last year. Best bet would to keep trying until you find a parts guy at a dealer that seems to know his stuff.
Exactly, for this scenario where you're in your driveway/garage and just running in briefly, easiest is just shut the door BUT not all the way (it will look almost like it is shut, just sticking out maybe 1/4").
For the times you want to run in a store and need to have it lock, then either put...
For clarity, as I'm not sure how you meant the above.... The Yellow Payload sticker in the drivers door frame specifies allowable payload. This is based on the truck as manufactured (i.e. does not include any after market adds), includes full fluids (full tank of gas), but does NOT include an...
JEB, thanks for the additional info.
Is there a way I could reimburse (or send a contribution in name) for a set of update files that I could download onto a USB memory stick to do it at home?
Appreciate it Mike!
Anyway to know, if any of this would come OTA (i.e. I just keep waiting) or do I make a service appointment and try to get them to do the updates?
Mine is Dec '21 build 2022 PB KR Long bed.
I got the BlueCruise OTA update back early last year. Then got the 3.5.2 on 9/8. That's it.
Never got the Recall for Trailer Brake over OTA, so took it in and had Ford Service do it.
I'm particularly interested in the Full Screen Apple CarPlay...
