Question for all you truck owners in the Northern Climates....
I only hand wash my truck Spring thru Fall, but as we are getting into Winter soon in Michigan I will be turning off the outside water and unable to wash my truck by hand. I refuse to do tunnel washes, as I don't want paint...
So far I've only pulled my jet ski, guessing around 800-1k lbs with the fuel I had in it. My mileage was completely unaffected. If the truck hadn't registered a trailer attached, or if I hadn't seen it in the rearview mirror, then I would have no idea I was trailering anything.
Granted this...
I had a ton of must haves, which is why I did a custom order back in early January...
Lariat, Supercrew, 4x4, Powerboost Hybrid, 502A High package with Chrome Appearance, Co-Pilot 360 Active Prep, 7.2kw pro-power, max trailer tow, Rapid Red Exterior, extended chrome running boards...
Looking at getting this with the tri ball mount, debating between 3 and 5 inch drop. I have a Lariat Powerboost Full Hybrid with max trailer tow (20" wheels). Have you ever wished you had more drop then the 3 inch provides?
Thanks much. I have a Powerboost Full Hybrid with Max Trailer Tow, and also will be pulling a 26ft Tri-Toon with a 300HP engine. Was interested in whether or not you had the weight distributing hitch or not. Have you used the pro trailer assist, and if so was it a pain to place the sensors on...
Picked up my Lariat Powerboost on 3/3 and have 2172 on it as of this AM. Have taken two trips up to Northern Michigan and back, about 550 round trip, and pretty much have only driven it on errands around town. My wife's car is not getting much use! Love my new F-150!
Really thinking of getting either ceramic coating or a clear bra/paint film on my 2021 Lariat Powerboost (Rapid Red). Anyone have a place they recommend in the metro Detroit area, and even better anybody had it done that can let me know their experience with price and final outcome? Thanks much!
Had my Lariat Powerboost Hybrid 4x4 for less than two days, and I LOVE IT! Drove it from Metro Detroit to Northern Michigan last night (250 miles) and I'm not sure I stopped grinning at any point. I expect there will be some type of issue with a new model year, and the amount of tech, but I am...
So I just picked up my Lariat powerboost hybrid on Wednesday, and I have NOT spent enough time learning all the electronics. But we drove from Metro Detroit to Northern Michigan last night. I got about 4% electric miles, but was on highway doing 75+ most of drive. Averaged 18.7 mpg for the...
Picked my Lariat up yesterday. Posted some pics in the Lariat Lounge thread. Have not driven it much yet, but I'm very happy with the truck. Looks even better than I thought it would and drives great...
Here is my new baby, just picked up and drove home. More pics later....

Gorgeous. I almost went with the Anti-matter blue. I love it when in bright sunlight, but in Michigan we get a ton of no sun/grey days and I didn't love the color in December/January. I went with Rapid Red. I pick up my Lariat today!
Bottom line - reordering is the right thing. When spending this much on a truck you need to get what you wanted. I could have had a truck off the dealer lot in late January. But I wanted what I wanted - 7.2kw, Hybrid, Rapid Red, Interior Partitioned Storage, Chrome 20" wheels, Max Tow. These...
