The CDF drum bushing was modified so it doesn't slide around like they used to, causing trans failures/issues. I think it also mentioned better lubrication with the new drum. Not sure exactly when they did this, but it may have been during the 2023 MY ? The 2024's have the new/improved CDF...
Some of the delays for delivery of the 2024's is a result of the engineers discovering numerous points of battery usage while the truck is off. It wouldn't surprise me one bit that this is the real problem for ALL Fords with the BMS and/or ASS. It's been an issue for a lot of Ranger owners...
Yes. I put one on my 2019 Ranger as soon as it was available and it makes a considerable difference in handling. I also added them to my 2010 CC 4x4 and 2013 CC 4x4 Ram 1500's. Best bang for the buck mod and I'll add one to my 24 RCSB after I lower it. If you enjoy the twisty's, you'll enjoy...
Check out this post....unfortunately, it might have some relevance for the delays....

I read somewhere that adding more gas after the pump clicks off is bad....something about a sensor in the fuel filler neck/line. Could have been for another vehicle, but can't remember 🤷♂️
I'm glad I bought a Zanotti Armor safe. It weighs 750 lbs when assembled but breaks down to 6 pieces that are easily handled by 2 guys. It does help that I live about 75 minutes from their shop, but they do ship.

You'll have to use the Build and Price, save a copy of EXACTLY what you want, e-mail it to him, and he'll get a quote back to ya in a day or 2...maybe 3....he's a very busy guy.
Went from In Production Hell to the Order Confirmed Bench on 3/24. I do have a convoy number from Jack Cooper Transport in KC, but it is pending an update.....the wait continues. Build updates and info below.
I'd call your dealer and see if they have the VIN....they'll get it before the infamous Ford e-mail. Mine had it a week after I got the "order confirmed" e-mail. Then just plug it in at the end of this link, copy and paste (y)

Once the eco-boost gets going, it's great for mileage. Once the turbo(s) start spinning, there goes the mileage. Do you have a way to monitor the boost, like a gauge or an OBDII scan gauge ? I was surprised how often my Ranger's little 2.3 EB was into the boost, but it explained why I...
The sway bar handling improvement will be very noticeable immediately. I put one on my 2019 Ranger 4x4 (none from factory) and now it handles like I want it to. If you want better handling in the curves, it's a GREAT mod for any vehicle.
I'm just saying they work as intended. Better handling, better traction in the curves, less body roll/lean, more predictable reaction from the suspension (to me at least). If you like it when it feels like the truck is about to roll over when going around a curve, don't put one on. If you...
I've added them to most trucks I've owned, if they didn't come with them. And to me, they are one of the "best bang for the buck" mods you can do, and feel it immediately. Lots of youtube videos about them.
Call Ford Customer Service and open a complaint with them. They usually light a fire under that dealer's ass. If the dealer/tech whines about it, just tell them "you had your chance, but did nothing". The squeaky wheel gets the grease (y)
