To me that seems like a lot of fuel for that time period for 500 watts. I have the Powerboost with the 7200 watt version and I ran mine for 48 hours pulling 600 watts. Truck turned on 2-3 times an hour typically for 2-3 minutes each time. I went through 1/4 of a tank.
It is very relevant I am giving a 2024 Ranger to my youngest grandson for his 16th. We gave my older grandson a 2023 Kia Sportage X-Pro for his 16th and installed Open Pilot in it. I have to be fair to the younger one. Thanks for validating.
I liked BlueCruise but found it limited. It turned off too often passing exits. It is limited to specific "limited access" highways. It biased me in my lane making passing uncomfortable without intervention (too close to big trucks) and it turned off on nearly every tight curve. I switched...
You can take a version you like and create your own branch using that version. Once you do, your branch will not be updated until you choose to bring a newer version into your branch.
I do not remember having to pull the cover behind the rear view mirror on my 2023. I ran a long USB cable around the windshield and down the pillar to the module located on the driver's side near the floorboard. The generic instructions from CommaAI are not correct for the F150 (2021-2023)...
They make winch kits that relocate the front center sensor. You cannot use the trailer wiring harness for powering the winch unless your trailer harness has zero gauge (battery cable size) wiring. Winches draw huge power.
Those of us who have discovered Open Pilot / Comma3x will never pay their subscription fee for BlueCruise. I bought my truck because I wanted BlueCruise. Once I tried Open Pilot on the Comma3x I completely forgot about BlueCruise.
I usually trade trucks every year. This year I am keeping my 2023. I will not buy a 2024 with TRON because I suspect I cannot use Open Pilot. Like Ajzride, you would have to pry it from my cold dead hands to get me to give it up. BlueCruise is a dud in comparison.
