Does the tool have a universal motor (AC/DC) or brushless motor? If it has brushes (universal motor) system might think it's an arc situation and the arc fault sensor shutting down.
Split the difference and order a Limited. It has satin finished aluminum trim instead of chrome, no stickers (4x4 decals) on the side and painted bumpers and mirrors. However, if you need Fx4 or Max trailer tow packages, no dice. I also recommend ordering without the under carriage rust package.
My dealer just finished power washing and removing the rust from the underside of mine and applied the same coating/paint used by the factory to all affected parts. They said Ford will be picking up the tab. Now, all that's left for them to do so I can get my truck back is repaint the tail gate...
Would advise against having a gun in your vehicle unless on a trip or going to the range. Better to carry bear pepper spray or other non-lethal; too many things can go wrong and you can get yourself into some hot water. Here in CA just thinking about a gun can cost you some hard time;-)
As my late father once said, "it took them [the car manufacturers] forty years to get the shifter off the floor and on the column, so why would anyone want it back on the floor?" My Expedition, unlike my new f-150, has int on column and seems more practical.
Thank you for taking the time to do this; I concur with most of the issues you cited. Two more minor but annoying issues, which I would welcome other members' feedback on: 1)The leather wrapped steering wheel has a small but very detectable "bump" on the underside at about the 5:30 posiiton...
Truck looks great! I'm looking to level mine, too, but can't seem to find a manufacturer with one approved for the 2021s. Heard that If I use the Ford Performance Fox setup, will not affect insurance. What brand did you use?
First 3 pictures are under my eleven-week-old f-150 Limited; second two are under my 16-year-old Expedition. Notice any difference? What in the hell did I just spend 80 grand on!
The inverter is a large metal clad component under the truck. This is a AGM battery. I, too, have several guesses as to what it does; however, I'm really hoping someone who KNOWS can answer.
Thanks much!
