That's what the diff fluid looks like. It's a translucent off-white grayish color. Also, check your drive shaft. The F-150's had a recall for the underbody insulation that can come loose and touch the drive shaft.
I’ve had a couple of reoccurrences, but it isn’t as often as before. I’m kinda stuck now because it doesn’t happen often enough for the dealer to diagnose it, and @Ford Motor Company doesn’t seem to care.
I jinxed myself. The error came back. I was down in Myrtle Beach, it was a humid drizzley day, and my system kept throwing the ground fault error. @Ford Motor Company your software update did not resolve the issue.
My last issue was also in the April timeframe. I’ve been waiting to see what happens come July, August, September here in the southeast. Humidity seems to be more problematic than the rain itself.
I’m not concerned about Ford denying the claim. This part is protected by the skid plate, and there is no damage on it. It just seems like a really odd failure.
My 2021 started to leave an oil puddle in my driveway. I took it to the dealer this morning, and after a couple of hours of searching, they found a hairline crack in the front diff housing. They mentioned the cold and snow as a potential cause, but still covered by warranty. Has anyone heard of...
I wonder if something is up. I had to take my truck in, and they reflashed everything. I no longer have the option to configure my gauges. I wonder if they were having issues, and their "fix" was to remove the option to select it.
When I tow my camper, ICE is always running while in tow haul mode. IT will pull my 6500lb camper in electric only if you forget to enable tow haul mode. I try not to do this too much though because I do not want to burn up my electric motors.
I've had my PB for about 2 weeks, and a ground fault error started to show up on the main screen. It seems that rain is a trigger for the error so I am guessing it is a loose connection somewhere. I believe I read that others have seen this error after their aftermarket spray in bed-liner was...
In theory this is a "great" feature, but when your truck alarm keeps going off for no reason, that's not a lot of fun. While packing my camper for a trip, the jostling of the camper kept setting the alarm off. I checked the connection with the truck multiple times, and it continued to set the...
