  1. Happy Veterans Day Fellow Veterans

Yes to all my brothers and sisters out there thank you all.
  2. Pedestrian Sounder Delete (No Codes, Easily Reversible)

Yep I've read that it is some federal standard that is either in effect or should be coming soon and some manufacturers are just getting ahead of the game. Think this is also why the PB has the sealing gas tank door (As does my wife's Niro). Hybrids have certain rules so the PB has to follow...
  3. Pedestrian Sounder Delete (No Codes, Easily Reversible)

If you think the back up on the PB is loud try hearing your wife's 2020 Kia Niro Hybrid backup alarm. That thing sounds like a delivery truck. When she leaves for work I can hear it from the other end of the house in the sunken family room. The PB chime doesn't bother me nearly as much. But...
  4. Rear UnderSeat Storage or Rear Side Bed Storage (Not an on top bed box)

I bought this one for mine: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QHAASF4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I liked it a bit more then the weathertech options as it seemed to connect to the truck better. This one actually screw mounts to the truck where the other ones all...
  5. 2021 F150 3.5 powerboost fuel rod

Most awesome. You might become a very popular person on this forum going forward :)

  7. DualLiner with Pro Power availability

@UGADawg96 I had a Dualiner on my 2012 F150. Very heavy duty protection (Loved the rubber mat when camping in the bed). The only oddity that I had with it was items could still get stuck underneath the rubber mat. Dust I can understand but never figured out how sweet gum balls would somehow...
  8. Powerboost hybrid - showing fuel door open error message

Had my first fill up yesterday. Hit the release button and when I went to open the door the post and rubber seal fell out to the ground. Luckily I had seen this post and thought to check this assembly. Had to spend a few minutes looking at it to see how it would all appear together. Like...
  9. Running generator all night? Safe? Gas consumption?

@jeffcrum hope all is better then expected for you. @Lpetters84 I found this video a few weeks ago where someone had ran their Airstream trailer for 24 hours and tested the fuel consumption: Not my video but thought it was interesting to see. Being in NC I do find myself leaving the truck...
  10. Complete power loss when making right turn

Had something similar happen today. Was backing out of a parking spot and turning the wheel to the right, got to the end of the back out and put the truck in drive and nothing. Almost like the gears weren't engaged. I could put the truck in reverse and it would continue to back up but no forward...
  11. Where is the DEF warning light on the dash?

Hello all. Appreciate the responses. Apparently I was way off on the icon that I remembered but found this post: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/what-the-heck-is-this-symbol.5183/ and someone had asked about my oddball icon. Seems to be part of the Emergency Braking System. I'll admit...
  12. It’s HOT OUT! Battery powered A/C!

I had an EcoBoost with the autostart/stop contraption. That was much more annoying to me. But agree seeing that oil pressure drop out and the RPM gauge zero out took a bit to get used to.
  13. What the heck is this symbol?

@Posneut thank you for this question and the answer. I had this same symbol pop up on my dash while idling on battery with the AC on. Couldn't find that anywhere in the manual. Weird that mine popped on while I was just sitting in a parking lot but so far it hasn't appeared again. I don't think...
  14. Where is the DEF warning light on the dash?

Is that notification a light or one of those big warnings in the entire display screen? Appreciate the input. Just trying to figure out what this oddball light might have been.
  15. Where is the DEF warning light on the dash?

Hi all, Hoping someone can help. I have a powerboost but had a warning light pop up on my dash yesterday while idling on battery waiting for my wife to run into a store "For just a minute." Nearly an hour later a warning light popped up right between the temperature and oil pressure gauges...
  16. It’s HOT OUT! Battery powered A/C!

Did this yesterday here in NC with 95+ temps when my wife ran into a store for "Just a minute.". An hour later she came back out. :) Much nicer then turning the truck off and on and only lost about 5 miles to empty per the gauge. One oddball thing as I neared the hour sitting there a yellow...
  17. LEAD FOOT F-150 (2021+) Club

Hello all, Left the Agate Black club for the Leadfoot club about 2 weeks ago. Dealer remembered that I had originally wanted a Powerboost and called to tell me some were on the lot. Managed to keep the payments just about where the Ecoboost model was so made the switch. So far nothing much...
  18. Fixed - Approach lighting not on PB?

To be honest I wanted the Powerboost back in February when I bought the 1st truck. Back then though I couldn't find any PB within 300 miles of my home. The EB had everything that my 2012 had and the price was too good to pass up then and it was on the dealer lot. My son managed to smash the EB...
  19. Rubberized Undercoating

Just picked up a PB last week and was getting quotes from the Line-x dealer here in Raleigh, NC. Their undercoating pricing starts at $600 on a new vehicle. Not entirely sure what they do for that pricing nor the materials involved. Trying to get more info from them on what all is involved.
  20. Rear Seat Locking Mechanism

I moved my Builtrite back seat latch from my 2012 to my 2021 with no issues. As others have said you have to find the sweeet spot to get everything to align the first time but after that the latch lines up just fine. Takes a bit more to trigger the latch then the factory one on the passenger...
