I first noticed this a few months ago, 2021 with ~18k miles. It was like the ECU was reading input multiple seconds behind. I'm sitting there at 70% throttle but it feels like 20% enginer power for 2-3 seconds. Then I release the pedal (0%) and at the exact same time I'm suddenly getting 70%...
I've had this happen multiple times. After the second or third time that I "fixed" it by pulling the upper lip out it stopped happening. No easy way to tell if the actuators died or my temporary fixes eventually solved it.
My oil burning furnace started sucking air (again) so I decided to head to Home Depot to get some thread sealant. I don't get 200 ft from the drive way before I hear a weird thumping noise and get a tire pressure warning. In the mirror it just looks like a leaf but when I hop out and check I...
I think that's it. That particular blanket seems to have some kind of circuitry to detect a bonded neutral. It would turn on momentarily (0.5 - 1s) and then turn off, even while parked, and even with the bed outlets. I tested two other heating blankets (my girlfriend might have a problem) and...
Has anyone confirmed the wattage available in the cabin outlets while driving? My girlfriend was hoping to use a 120V heated blanket but it would shut off immediately in either outlet while driving.
Just a guess but it could be related to all the information gathering / sharing settings in some other menu. I know when I've tried disabling all of them, something else I did want got disabled.
Had this issue as well. Presumably knocked my latch off at a gas station but didn't realize it or notice any warning messages until I had driven away. By the time I went back it was not surprisingly impossible to find.
To get the repair done under warranty, I had to drive to a dealership...
That makes sense. My house uses heating oil. The nice thing about that is it requires minimal electricity to keep running and coupled with well /septic can be habitable completely "off grid" indefinitely. The F150 would've complemented this setup nicely but given the cost and apparent difficulty...
Thanks for the detailed response! It sounds like there are some transfer switches mentioned in this thread that accomplish the necessary neutral - ground bond break in the house.
Can someone clearly write out why the powerboost generator won't work with a typical interlock switch in the main panel, in a way that a reasonably competent electrician (that hasn't spent hours reading this thread) would understand?
I just had an electrician at my house to discuss setting up...
Any update on this? I broke and lost the little plastic latch thing. I know a couple people with 3D printers so this would save me a trip to the dealer.
That's exactly what I did. Couldn't figure it out online but had the dealership parts department order them in with the understanding I would use Ford Pass points. Manager had to train the guy on the computer how to use the points but it was no problem.
I have also had this with the steering wheel at full lock to the right. Also happens in 2H or 4A. Only happens at low speed pulling out of my driveway and so far I think it has only happened while the truck is in full electric mode. Incidentally this has only happened in snow because my driveway...
Just adding details for my experience: I could have sworn none of the breakers were tripped when I drove home with this issue and the dealer salesman and lead technician also went over all the fuse buttons and pushed them even though they weren't visibly tripped. Tech also tried hooking up to...
