Reverse brake assist is normal and because your 360 cams aren’t calibrated. Just went though this with another truck. As far as going into reverse and it not showing the correct screen, have you input the correct values in forscan?
I’m not sure if I have the memory lock switch or not. I have tons of schematics on my google drive in my signature below, I just looked briefly but you will have to look through the folders and pages. You can also go to https://www.motorcraftservice.com/Home/SetCountry?returnUrl=%2F and pull it...
If you watch my video you’ll see c904 above the headliner. It has to be pulled loose and out the chmsl hole. You will have to make a harness and run it from that light to the IPMA. You cannot splice into the 3 light wires.
Like this? If you see the other pic with all cams on except front, I was able to get that up by turning on truck, and unplugging front cam then plugging back in. When I did that, it would show all cams except the front cam. Try it with the right side cam. If all of them appear except for the...
I can’t see how you would get clear video and still have a problem with the coax. If the video was grainy or distorted I would believe it. I deal with coax daily. LMR 400 and 600, RG58, 1/4” and 1/2” super flex… I have never had coax bad if you can test it to be good lol. There are signs of bad...
I think this move is so ford can ensure all new vehicles are remotely connected and accessible. As for the speed limit on the IPC, most of these have speed limit sign recognition and that wouldn't stop working. I'm not a fan of them moving in this direction. I get paying for updates, I think...
Revised these three files and uploaded them to my drive. Created a new document detailing how to disassemble C316 under hood connector properly as well as how to pin out C265. Its too large to attach so I am linking my drive. I know I'm a little late with this info don't call me out on it...
I did another one of these this weekend and learned a bit more. I will be updating my documentation and adding to it. C265 for power to the IPMA in the passenger footwell IS wired to the battery box and was very easy to get to.
The inside of the connector under the hood comes apart VERY EASY...
I have both CCA and CBA on my doc but I do need to add CBA (short one between two main disconnects) to the parts list.
I think everyone struggles at this part. I was hoping my video would help once I figured it out and showed how I did it. I am doing another one possibly this weekend, we will...
I never even clicked on the pic. Out to dinner with the lady and it looked like the side of it was broke. Looks like he just broke the tab off that you grab to pull it out. I’d agree with you then that’s no big deal at all.
Oh my…. We all take know this is the cost of DIY. This is why I don’t remove it fully lol. I believe @Jesse-Infotainment does have the part number for the entire harness connector and pigtail. I would say you will have to buy that and carefully remove the red part and insert it into your truck...
You have to pull that red plate up and unlatch it. It doesn’t come out, just pull on it with needle nose. The black piece should have came loose easy if you used needle nose to pull it. I covered both of these in my video.
