I want the bass control input that comes with the Scosche. But I looked at the Kicker and it's rated for 50w input. If that works for the base amp then I'm good to go :)
I'm adding an amp/sub setup and am looking at two Line Out Converters, both made by Scosche: Both offer the same wiring setups but the only difference is the wattage handling and price. Will the LOC2SL work?
LOC2SL - $20 - Handles up to 80w per channel
Or
LOC90 - $70 - Handles up to 90w per...
Thanks, I didn't describe that very well. This sequence method is the very first thing I tried to get the truck into brake service mode (though it's slightly different for getting it in/getting it out). Neither would work for me.
My dealership told me that Ford is aware of this problem on some...
SUCCESS!! Thanks for your help. I found a VIN of the exact same truck but with the console and plugged it into https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt
Going through RCM and IPC again I found a mismatch at:
720-02-02 xx** xx--
RBM Seating Layout (Running Board Module?)
Mine was set to...
That's a good suggestion, digging into that now. If I can't figure this out then I guess I'm stealing the seatbelt sensor off the jumpseat and pinning it into the console's connector as Wes1963 said.
So I swapped the jumpseat back in. The warning on the dash was still there. No DTC though.
I then changed RCM 737-02-01 back so "First Row Middle Seatbelt Sensor Present" = YES. And that got rid of the dash warning. So it's more about the value in this RCM section (737-02-01 xxxx xxxx x*--)...
Thanks, yeah that's one of the videos I followed through the process and added the velcro. I did the seat a second time and it turned out the same, maybe worse.
I don't understand how it's possible. You've got to clip the runners in but also stretch the leather in that middle part with the...
Thanks. The thing is that there are no codes thrown. I just checked that section of IPC and MPB was disabled. I disabled them all now because they're annoying!
I checked the connections on all the seats, folded the rears down, plugged all the belts in....drove around even. Still getting that...
Thanks for screenshotting those! Changing the first has removed the DTC.
Unfortunately I still have this on the dash (it's been present since removing the passenger seat). No DTC's are present now though. And I haven't touched the rear seats. Do you guys think this is related somehow?
Hey thanks, that's helpful. I just checked out the jump seat again and found this guy on the side....is this what you're talking about? This would be to close the circuit on that plug I left unconnected. I thought it was wired into the jump seat which is why I left it there.
Woah, I've never had a resting reading that high on mine. Then again I don't think my battery is healthy. If you take a reading tomorrow morning at the 24 hour mark it should read around 12.7v (or higher, I guess). Sounds like your battery isn't the problem though.
Over time these short trips...
That could do it. A few miles isn't enough to charge the battery and will actually pull more than you get back. A whole bunch of those trips back to back and bring the battery down. You could go for 30+ minute drives every so often or get a battery tender and keep it plugged in when not using...
You mentioned your stereo settings also resetting sometimes. How often do you drive your truck...or....how healthy is your battery? I know for sure that those stereo settings will reset if your battery drops low enough to drain the capacitors in the PCM and then they're reset the next time you...
Back at it again 😁 We finally had a couple dry days. I found this great spot higher up. Bigger deadfall up there; Douglas Fir and Larch. About 4.5 hours for a half cord both days! But man do my bones ache. I'm probably getting too old for 10 out of 15 days splitting.
