On a recent oil change I was watching mine as it ticked down (using the app) and I was waiting to schedule my service . Then one day it dropped form about 10% to 0%, I can't remember if I got a warning or not before the drop. Maybe you had a sudden drop like I did and didn't get a warning? I...
So is it as simple as changing out the brake light assembly to add the feature back in? Could I in theory take the one of my 2021 and put it on my 2023?
Sorry to bring up an old thread but I thought it would be better than starting another one.
So is there anywhere you can order tow mirror covers that match the truck body? I see the black textured ones on the parts website:
Right Side (textured F150)
Left Side (textured F150)
and then they...
Thanks. I missed the part where you said you have the Black Appearance Package, I guess that changes the tow mirror caps to. I don't even see that option on the Canadian website.
Edit: I see it now, not available on the 6-1/2' box so that's a no deal for me.
Did you change out the mirror caps or are they wrapped or something? I thought the Lariats all came with chrome mirror caps on the tow mirrors (even with the sport package). My 2021 has chrome ones.
I think 2135lbs is the max available payload for 4x4 157" 5.0l, that would base XL truck with very options. I'd expect a Lariat to be in the 1600-1800lb range depending on the options.
Yeah I had their replacement insurance as well, I know that causes the price to go up over time since the gap increases. At the time my car was over 5 years old and my truck that I had just added to the plan was brand new so I had replacement insurance on the competitor quote as well. The nice...
I found the TD would just increase my rates every year until I left, they wouldn't give me a break even through I was getting lower quotes from the competition so I left. One agent told me they give you new client discount that gradually reduces over several years, I think it's just to steal...
I don't think this issue is a new issue on F150's. When I bought my 2016 I remember crawling underneath it to inspect the rear axle and diff because there were similar issues going on with other new trucks. The paint they use on these components must be a single coat of low quality paint...
Stopped by the dealer in Halifax (Dartmouth actually) yesterday since my truck was supposed to be at the auto port this week and I wanted to see if it was at the dealer yet. My truck was there! Hopefully they'll have it ready early next week.

Congrats! Was your truck from the KC plant? Do you know what your ship date was? I'm trying to figure out the shipping time from KC to Halifax. Mine shipped on March 15th, "transit date" says 22 days but my ETA isn't until April 21st.
I ordered mine with the LT tire package (18" wheels), they come with General Grabber APT's. The Generals are winter rated, we'll see how they do. On my 2016 I had the LT tires from the factory and it came with the Goodyear All Terrain Adventure, they are winter rated, but I didn't find them to...
Thanks! The tracker on this site says "awaiting shipment" but when I use the link you provided and type in my info, my primary status is "in transit" with a "shipment Date" of 2021-03-15, I assume that means my truck has shipped?
Wow that was a quick turn around from build to shipping! I was worried mine was going to go back to "in production", I thought I saw someone's truck in another thread do that. I hope mine ships soon but based on my ETA I doubt it will.
I'm not sure? I thought I remember there being a CAD drawing of the truck bed relapsed from ford showing all the difference to the bed, rails, wheel wells etc. I think it was for accessory manufacturers to modify their products? I can't find that post now, not even sure if it was on this forum...
On Tyger's website they list the same model number for the 2015-2020 and the 2021 (TG-BC3F1042 for the 6-1/2' bed, TG-BC3F1041 for the 5-1/2' ). Are you saying the cover seems a little short?
