I swapped mine, transfered the as built codes in forscan. Everything works as before. But there is a dtc for “not programmed” but I heard that is normal.
recently I got a damper failure, someone said I need FDRS to run a damper calibration (end points) with the new controls

I noticed that my passenger vents were blowing cold air while drivers side blowing hot. “Dual” was turned off.

I tried it this morning, much colder outside. From auto start the steering wheel and seat INDEED turn on, but lights on the AC control panel are off. (i guess i didn't take not of this before on the original unit) Everything lights up normally once you press the start...
I swapped mine today. I did a “save all” from the original and then connected the new one. Did a “load all”.
All the functions work when the car is turned on with key.
