Sounds good. If the dealer doesn't replace the battery when I take it in I'll order the monitor you recommended in another thread and do more troubleshooting. I sure hope it's the battery, that would be easiest to fix. There aren't any aftermarket addons like a dashcam that could be disconnected.

If you have the toe button on the running boards you can use that to extend them after locking the truck. They'll still retract as usual when you return to the truck.
I often extend them when I'm concerned about possible dings from other car doors or shopping carts.
